”This place is wonderful. The hosts are so kind. They met us at the front of the hotel. We stayed a wonderful room and had a bottle of wine and pate’ in the garden. Prices were so reasonable. I would go there again and again. Tell them we said hello if you go by. So close to so many wonderful things. Make sure you go down by the river. It is so serene. We had a fabulous time.”

”Unbelievable romantic countryside hotel with 3 different buildings. We stayed at the mainhouse wing. Great food from own gardens and local farmers. Goo service too. Highly recommended as their Epicerie on the other side of the street!”

”Hotels.com did not request advance payment of 30%, but the hotel insisted it. After all we were invoiced that amount. We had to proof the payment done at the hotel, because Chissay hotel front desk did not have info of our downpayment (we sent several reminder e-mails and one phone call to get confirmation of the pre payment). Otherwise the hotel experience was good, but prepare for the ”time sloap of some decades backwords” in a nice way. Breakfast service had some difficulties with shortage of...

”A cozy hotel with great breakfast, although with some visible wear-and-tear of the furniture/property. Not sure how deep their direct engagement is with the one-starred Michelin restaurant on the property, but the restaurant did not grant us a proper apology or some kind of discount for the 3 small bullets that was found in the duck meat. Biting onto one could have cracked a tooth or affect a filling; didn’t happen but it’s about principles. First time we encounter such a lack of response from...

”Very nice hotel with excellent view of Amboise. Service was excellent and our whole family incl. our Great Dane enjoyed the visit a lot. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amboise or the surrounding area. Hotel has a lot of parking places and town it self is very near.”

”Wonderful surroundings and beautiful athmosphere. We stayed in charmfuö charlets”

”I would have reviewed the hotel slightly higher but for the dishonesty of management. We booked a room on Expedia that was described as having a yard. Upon check-in, they tried to give us a second floor room. When I stated that we booked a room with a yard(which would be ground floor), I was told that the hotel did you have any room with a yard. We were then given a ground floor room, but it was much smaller than the room I had booked as pictured on Expedia. I was also later told that I would...

”Asiat sujuivat hyvin,huone ok,siisti”

”The property is amazing and the staff was very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here, the gardens are not in the picture and it’s another part of the property worth exploring!”

A recommander.”

”Terrible. Bugs and aunts. No one in reception. Very dirty. The staff are not nice.”

”Calme, chambre charmante et petit déjeuner agréable.”

”Erittäin idyllinen ja tunnelmallinen hotelli.”

”Très bel endroit L'équipe charmante”
