The 15 minute walk from the train to the hotel was a little long for my wife and I, in our 70's, but was doable. The service was excellent -- responsive and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. A good place to stay.”

”Perfect place to relax prior to visiting Machu Picchu or any excursion. Everything we needed was provided. They even arranged car service from Cusco. The location is prefect! I really loved hearing the river outside our room. Shops, restaurants and the train station is within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here. 5 stars!!!”

”Nice place run by a kind and helpful couple. Close to the centre of town, but quiet. It’s not possible to drive up to the hotel by car, but it’s just a short walk. Nice view of ruins and mountains from the window. ”

”Staying here is like camping out. Lukewarm water the first dat and no water at all the second day. The family who run the place woke us up with a very loud argument. The room was dirty. TV didnt work. Lots of ants in the bathroom. The breakfast was ok. Dont stay here if you like getting a good nights rest. ”

”The room was clean though didn't have heating or a kitchenette available as advertised on Expedia. Payment was in soles & not USD as advertised on Expedia which caused confusion & I had to pay more than advertised on Expedia. The staff were lovely & helpful & it was the most comfortable bed I had slept in for months. Great view from my room of the mountains & Inka site & great breakfast too. Would recommend though some things need changing on Expedia website.”

”Pas de papier toilette à mon arrivée. Pas de serviette ni de savon. Eau froide, demander pour avoir de l'eau chaude. Si il y a assez d'eau dans le chauffe eau! Ce qui ne fut pas mon cas. Très bruyant, lumineux avec des rideaux en papier. Réveillé chaque heure de la nuit par la famille tenancière qui parle, bouge, etc... Ce n'est pas une vérité écrite, mais mauvaise expérience. (Crevé le lendemain )”

”Excellent service and BEAUTIFUL views. What an experience. We also did a tour of the sacred valley with the owner Eddy. We had the best time, visited moray Mara’s ollantaytambo and stopped for beers at a local brewery. Had the best time. Staff were also very accommodating, shout out to Gabby and Juan Carlos! Food was top notch. Lots of water coca tea, pisco sours and even made a special tea for me where I had a cold ! The place is a little out of the way up the mountain but gave the best...

”This was a very nice affordable place to stay in Cusco. One thing that I wasn’t expecting was there was no front desk or lobby. I arrived late at night and it’s not very well marked. I had to ring a doorbell and was quickly greeted very nice employee who gave me my room code. (It’s a historic building so they can’t make changes to the exterior.) One thing to note is this up a very steep hill, not too far from the Plaza de Arms,so if you are not hiking shape, it’s an effort to get back to the...
