”We had a lovely stay at this cottage for our anniversary over New Year’s. The rainy weather made it extra cosy, and we were pleasantly surprised by the board games and puzzle provided, which were perfect for relaxing indoors together. The cottage was clean, warm, and thoughtfully set up. A wonderful, peaceful getaway that we would happily recommend.”

Unfortunately this property is not one of those.The listing mentions the house has quirks that come with old age and mentions it is well maintained.Instead there’s cracks in the windows, the front right bedroom has a smell of mold in the corner and there are sharp edges in the bathroom due to that the floor is cracked and broken.The house is also noisy and not peaceful as mentioned in the listing and was dusty, couches...

Plenty of options to walk at the seaside, the mountain tracks or visit Christchurch. Property is well equipped with the lovely host plus family and animals living next door. Recommended. ”
