”The staff were super friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to cook us with delicious vegan food. Their potato soup and guacamole were incredibly delicious! They also helped us by driving us to the Salt Mines of Maras, Moray & Ollantaytambo for a reasonable price. They had warm water and good WiFi connection which isn’t always the norm in Peru. Highly recommend if you’re in Urubamba. ”

”Room was clean and fresh. Bed very comfortable. Met a wonderful kind young woman named Ruth, who made our experience wonderful. She helped us select a delicious local wine. Jonathan, our host was very accommodating and helped us get settled. Had a wonderful bonfire outside too! We drove and were able to park on site. (Not very good signage to locate entrance, but we found it.) Could hear dogs barking during the night. ”

”This is a family ran lodge with plenty of character. Rudy and Claudia are very helpful and attentive The dogs, cat, llama and little rabbit are super friendly as well. Perfect place to kick back and relax, it is a little tough to get in and out of there so plan accordingly. The place is a little rough on the edges, but that is the exact appeal. It’s a work in progress. Walking distance from the Maras Salt Mines through a little village Overall, I’d come back and would recommend ”

”One of the best travel experiences I have had. Xavier and Erica are incredible hosts and people. The lodge and grounds are beautiful. Filled with beautiful plants , trees, and flowers. The lodge feels like an old ruin brought back to life. The rooms are beautiful and very rustic. The beds are extremely comfortable. Beautiful dining room for meals. The lodge is peaceful, quiet, and a short moto taxi ride from downtown. Lastly, two charming German sheapards make the lodge feel like a home away...
