”I only spent one night at the Washhouse, but as soon as I entered, I felt right at home. The Washhouse was very clean and tidy, and very comfortable. I did not venture upstairs for the sake of cleanliness, but the downstairs was very nicely set up for Guests. There were lots of games and activities available for people who choose to stay longer, and the English mastiffs outside were so lovely and sweet and ready for pets! I would definitely return if I ever come back this way.”

”Delightful property in a very private neighborhood. Beautiful view from the porch of the mountain line and the family of deer. They came to visit everyday along with cardinals and hummingbirds. It was peaceful and serene. The house was well stocked, air conditioning and WI-FI worked great. We loved the window seat and so did our dog. She took one look at it and made it her spot. The porch really made the house extra special. Fantastic view and very cozy feel. We really enjoyed our time!”

”We chose to get away for a three day weekend - short hikes, touring a few wineries and checking out Staunton. The apartment was great. Just a ~5 minute walk to the pedestrian-only main road in town that has restaurants and the playhouse. The frontier museum was just a short drive away (highly recommended). The apartment was clean and well-appointed, and the check-in process very easy. There are stairs right after you right after the entry to get to the apartment. Not a difficult flight but...

”We traveled here with 6 adults and 3 children and had a wonderful time! The cottage is in a beautiful location and close enough to get to stores and restaurants. It’s incredibly clean, well-appointed and perfect for big groups. The owners are very friendly. We enjoyed exploring outside and playing games with the kids. There are also lots of hiking options nearby. We were there for a wedding but we would definitely come back!”

”This cottage had beautiful views all around us of the mountains as we set nestled in the valley. The host was extremely hospitable and provided so many things above and beyond for our pleasure during our stay. We enjoyed a nice fire with provided hot dogs and smores, plus corn hole to play. The cottage was clean and perfect space for us to relax. It was also within a close distance of many places to visit and explore!”

”If you want to get away from a busy life, this cabin offers that. On the plus, it has internet and we didn't have much of a problem with Verizon Wireless with our phones. Be sure to bring your groceries; you can find milk and bread nearby. Creek can be fun for ages 8 and up. Fished a little without luck, but we're novices.”

”The view was great and the hotel is nice enough, but the bedding was visibly dingy and had several people’s hair entangled between the sheets. Also, the housekeeping staff continuously knocked on our door on check-out day starting around 9am (well before standard checkout time) even though we had the “Do Not Disturb” placard hanging outside the door.
