Welcome! We would be so excited to host you in our beloved and recently renovated City View Shanty - an exquisitely styled space we hope you'll love as much as we do! And if you must leave the comforts of the house, you are just a short 4 minute drive or Uber to everything in downtown Cincinnati. With your stay, you'll have complete access to a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms, in-unit washer/dryer, Smart TV, fast Wifi, and complimentary essentials. Enjoy! Note - MUST CLIMB STAIRS.
The space
This gorgeous house is truly an oasis nestled in the Incline Hills adjacent to downtown Cincinnati. Recently renovated and remodeled with a unique character to every room, we hope the City View Shanty becomes your beloved home base for an exciting trip to Cincinnati!
𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺
The living room features comfortable furniture perfect for lounging or working from. The 50" Smart TV comes equipped with Netflix, Youtube, and Hulu (to name a few) for all of your entertainment needs. And the ultra fast WiFi ensures your work, streaming, or music is never interrupted! Enjoy the little details that make this room one of our favorites in the house, with an expansive view of Downtown Cincinnati!
𝗞𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make delicious home-cooked meals during your stay. Brand New stainless steel appliances, dining ware, and cookware make it the perfect kitchen for a quiet dinner at home, or for hosting your fellow guests. Original exposed wood ceiling beams and a spiral staircase leading to the upstairs loft and bedroom add a unique flavor to the kitchen and dining area.
𝗕𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀
The main master bedroom is located on the entry level and features a comfortable king bed for the perfect night's rest. Enjoy the textured ceiling, custom paint, and exposed brick fireplace (not operational) to fully set the tone to your evenings in the City View Shanty.
The second bedroom is located on the second floor and also features a comfortable king bed with ample storage for clothing.
𝗦 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗳𝘁
The second floor landing features another common area perfect for lounging or winding down during your visit. Enjoy the plush leather seating and the 60" Smart TV. All enveloped in plenty of natural lighting.
𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀
The house features two full bathrooms, each equipped with ample towels, toiletries, and shower essentials. If there is something you need to enhance your stay, please don't hesitate to reach out.
𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀
The house includes a washer and dryer equipped with laundry essentials should you need to run a fresh load during your stay.
The house is perched atop a hill, which does require ~30 steps to reach the main front door. MUST CLIMB STAIRS.
The backyard is currently a work in progress. Please excuse the current state of landscaping, we will be enhancing this space as we enter Spring.
Guest access
During your stay, you will have exclusive access to the entire house, with enhanced security features to ensure both safety and comfort.
PARKING IS FREE! Simply park on the street in front of the house. There should be ample parking spaces. As this is a public road, we do recommend leaving nothing valuable in your car over night.
Other things to note
Rest assured, the house is professionally cleaned AND sanitized between each stay, as well as all consumables restocked for your convenience. If you should notice any issues upon arrival, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will have it resolved right away!
