”We loved this house not far from Mt. Rainier. It was quiet and very beautiful. Getting in the hot tub after hiking was amazing. The town of Elbe is only a few minutes away and had a couple of stores to pick up some basics. Make sure you check out the Mt. Rainier webcams before you go to the park. We woke up to a very cloudy day at the house and were going to cancel the Skyline Loop trail but saw on the webcam that the clouds were breaking up there so we went ahead and did the hike. ”Stayed here for six nights in September 2025. The home is clean and comfortable. Three miles from Mt. Rainier National Park Entrance. Natural, beautiful setting. Saw deers and Elks on the property. Multiple trees of apple, pear, and cherries on property. The cabin is on the National Register of Historic Places, the homestead was established in 1884. ”Very clean and cozy”

”The house was very clean and well organized. It was comfortable for all 7 of us. The only issue was with the coffee maker. It was a pod coffee machine and there was only 3 pods available for 6 coffee drinkers. Maybe mentioning what type of coffee maker was available would help other visitors to bring their own pods. ”
