”Staff was kind, rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is showing its age a little. My only complaint was the included breakfast — choices were more limited than your typical continental breakfast which caused us to have to eat breakfast off site.”

”The property is located well but the building that we stayed in was dated and our room dark and relatively clean. The elevator in the other building was out of service, and that building appeared to be more recently updated. With the cost of rooms in the area, the pricing wasn’t bad and the room and property was better than others.”

”Staff was great. Office closes at 10pm so make sure if you run out to you car you have your key. Outside in the back were I walked the dog looked like a homeless camp. Parking lot very dirty. We had no power so didn’t have many choices with a dog. Price was great and lots of food options close”

The parking was ample on the street during my stay. The rest of the house was beautiful but during this trip I was not really there to enjoy any of the lounge areas. ”The mansion is a beautiful, historic treasure. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and tasty, and the amenities were very nice. The proprietor generously shared her time talking about the history, the community, etc. Highly recommend for those who enjoy indulging in history and beauty during their stay.”
