On our long road trip home from Miami, we decided to break up the drive with a couple of nights near Crystal River so we could swim with the manatees. Wanting both atmosphere and convenience, we reserved this sweet little home in Citrus Springs, and it exceeded our expectations. The cabin is completely charming, with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. It is beautifully decorated and genuinely welcoming in a way we rarely experience in rental homes. Small touches like sunscreen, soothing sun-after-care lotion, tiny jars of candy, and a little electric fireplace that kept us warm when temperatures dipped into the 30s made us feel especially cared for. We also loved meeting the animals on the property, who made our stay feel even more unique and memorable. Viktoria was responsive and easy to communicate with via VRBO, and we appreciated her travel recommendations: Rainbow Springs was magical, and Seafood Sellers was worth the surprisingly long wait at 2:00 on a Tuesday afternoon. The icing on the cake was the breakfast we ordered on our departure day. It was both beautiful and delicious: poached eggs, sausage and toast, flaky apple strudel, French toast, frittata, avocado on grilled sweet potato slices, and fresh mint water. It was the perfect send-off.We absolutely recommend this tiny home and would gladly return. Thank you for a lovely stay.
