”La Piccola Locanda is not a hotel, they don’t have a front desk. The owner sends an email before check in date explaining this “Albergo diffuso accomodation concept” meaning they can place you anywhere, the check in time are only from 11:00 - 2:45 and 6 -11:00 pm. The owner left me the keys on top of a barell, the entrance to the building was like a storage, no elevator, I dragged my suitcase 5 stair flights, and I was alone in the whole building, very scary! I ended up staying somewhereelse!”

”Misia was a wonderful experience. It was one the best hotels I have stayed at in Italy and I have visited this beautiful country almost ten times. Misia offers a great a base to explore nearby medieval hill top town Orvieto, the strange muddy city of Bagnoregio and lake Bolsena. Bolsena has some awful restaurants and tourist traps so it is highly advised that one consults Misia proprietor Giorgio or his sister for specifics regarding where to go. Of course beautiful hilltop towns are a dime a...

”We spent three days on our honeymoon in L’Olmo and I cannot be happier of our choise! The place itself is really beautiful, high quality and everything works perfectly - and it still has an old personal/rustic countryside feeling. It is a perfect hideout for everyone looking some relaxed time and works also as good base to visit other nearby places. L’Olmo’s pool has an amazing view as a cherry on the top. All this with super nice staff makes the place perfect! :)”

”Lovely surroundings, great atmospheric spot, but: no possibility of sitting at the terrace in the evening, too many reserved tables from people, no special arrangement for those who stay there (only 4 rooms), one needs to reservea table asap, and even then... Broken fridge wasn't replaced and poor shower ("little things", but...) prize quality ratio not too good.”
