”The hotel could use new furniture in the room. The breakfast and restaurant were very good However there were small details that was missing. There was no tissue or soap to wash your hands. You also had to ask for a face towel every day. Location is great”

”This was probably the best hotel stay I’ve ever had. It felt like home as soon as my wife and I arrived. The staff was amazing. Food was fresh daily. Margaritas were delicious. And the hotel is steps away from the beach. My wife didn’t want to leave. Hands down, we will be returning.”

”I really enjoyed my stay.
All the staff were really friendly and were considerate of my basic Spanish. Too many to mention but the bar staff, restaurant staff, receptionists, cleaners and security were helpful.
Between us and the use of Google translate, we got by.
A good location for walking to the Buenavista shopping centres and getting a taxi to anywhere else.
I’d be happy to stay again.

”My stay at Hotel Barranquilla Plaza was very disappointing.
When I arrived, my room key did not work. I spent almost two hours going back and forth to the front desk while they repeatedly tried different keys without success. In the end, I had to be moved to a different room. I had originally booked a double room, but I was given a room with two separate beds that was in noticeably worse condition.
The replacement room also did not have a minibar, yet I was charged for two minibar items I...

”The room was great! The hotel has a lot of character and is really unique! The staff was always pleasant and helpful as well! The only issues we ran into was that there was construction going on the hotel that would always start early morning, then there were also some issues with the water and it was unavailable. Other than that, it was an amazing stay and we'd be happy to come back! Maybe next time we can leave a 5 star rating!!”

I was denied the check in because they state that are not working with hotels.com and demanded £140 for 2 nights. we founded ourselves in the position to find another extortionate hotel in the carnaval period.
The hotel is a favela guarded by an armed security.”
