”I was there two times. As a Gold VIP member from hotels.com I was supposed to have a free bottle of wine by the hotel. No bottle was given "as they had changed the rules". In my reservation it said that I was supposed to have one. They said it was hotels.com mistake, but still when I checked future reservations, the bottle was offered. I don't know whose fault it is, but I would NEVER stay in this hotel again because if 5-star hotel cannot solve customers' problem in a small case, how they solve...

”The Green Elephant is stunning. Conveniently located (if you have transport) for getting around Lilongwe but not directly in the middle. The staff are relaxed, friendly and professional and helped every day. They made me special vegetarian options on request, and let me help myself to other foods. The furnishings are top notch. ”Rakennus oli kohtuullisen uusi. Huoneeni oli siisti, mutta aika yksinkertainen ja pieni. Ilmastointia ei ollut. Ikkunan sai auki, mutta siinä ei ollut hyttysverkkoa. Sängylle oli kuitenkin oma hyttysverkkonsa. Sijainti oli asuinalueella yli 10 km päässä Lilongwen ydinkeskustasta. Lähellä ei ollut mitään palveluita, joten ilman autoa paikassa on aika jumissa. B&B:stä sai ruokaa, mutta se olisi pitänyt tilata etukäteen (viimeistään sen päivän aamuna, kun haluaa syödä). Taksi ensimmäisen...

”I was working pretty intensively in Lilongwe and I needed a weekend break to wind down. Eden was the perfect spot and barely 20 minutes drive from town. My quiet, restful and beautifully appointed studio had its own mini kitchen and separate bedroom upstairs, so it was more like a small house. And the onsite bar and restaurant and extensive grounds were a delight. I will definitely return.”
