”We loved this place. Mary (spelled English but pronounced French) is delightful. The property is her house and has only a very few rooms available. But our room was much larger than anywhere else we have stayed, had a larger bathroom than most places, and even had a shared kitchen. It is in a very quiet neighborhood, but there are cafes around the corner, and everything in Amboise is just across the bridge.”

”It was a lovely stay, the hostess was a very gracious lady, the breakfast was great, fresh bageutte, croissant, boiled egg, jams, coffee or tea, fruit juice, all in your own semi private dining area,just enough to get you going for the day. It was also a easy walk to pretty much everything! The room was tastefully decorated with plenty of antiques, and the bathroom was up to date and clean, overall a great stay”

The breakfasts were fantastic and we met the other guests, served at a large table where we could all talk to each other and discuss our plans for the day.”

”Très bon accueil de Valérie et de son mari, chambres propres et confortables avec terrasse privée (non utilisée mais appréciable). Piscine sympa juste à côté et le parc est agréable et bien entretenu. De plus on peut garer la voiture à l'ombre. Petit déjeuner copieux, assez varié. Seul bémol, merci de mettre un panneau sur le protail de la rue du bas pour indiquer l'entrée du hauut, la bonne ! Je recommande à tous, c'était calme et charmant y compris Uki 😁 l'adorable chien de la propriété.”

”Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.”
