”My impression of the Big 4 Big River Holiday Park was a disappointment, over priced for what was on offer. This Park was tidy, but lack shaded areas or greenery, has a very mediocre (small) size gated swimming pool. The two bedroom cabins are very small containing a matchbox size bathroom, the shower floor tiles are extremely slippery, with the shower hot and cold water hard to regulate. The slope down to the riverside from the cabin was too steep if for anyone mobility issues. On the positive...

”Stayed for a wedding, rooms were clean, it is central to everything, management were absolutely delightful to deal with and nothing was a bother, we arrived after 9 pm and the key was in a locked box with easy access, the bowls club was fantastic great food and it is right next door to the motel”

”The view was spectacular and enjoyed time sitting on the balcony. Moby Dicks is well position for a walk into town or a walk along the river. I found the little notes about what you can’t do eg. Cook meat on the stove, leave dishes in the sink etc annoying with the constant threat of being fined - not relaxing or welcoming. Don’t provide ammenities if you don’t want people to use them! Have shampoo etc in refill containers that can’t be moved if you don’t want them taken. ”

”I booked a superior queen room that was far below its description. it was literally a triangle with the bed taking up three quarters of the room. it was supposed to have ocean views however they were only seen from the far corner of the veranda. It was however in a good location to the beach and restaurants.”

”We stayed in the two bedroom one bath unit. One room had a queen bed and other room had a queen and two twin beds. There was plenty in the room for our group of 6. It had a partial kitchen with no stove or oven. There was a refrigerator and microwave. There was a grill available in the common area near the pool.”
