Näkymät Black Rock Mountain ja Clayton

Kyydissä lähellä Screamer-vuoren huippua, tämä viehättävä mökki on täydellinen perhe tai pienryhmä, jossa ei ole enempää kuin 4-5 aikuista tai enintään 6-vuotias perhe / ryhmä, johon kuuluu lapsia, jotka olisivat mukavat nukkua yhdessä nukkujasohvalla parvi. Päätasolta löydät keittiön, olohuoneen, jossa on neljä istuinta, kaasulokka ja TV, makuuhuone kahdella erillisillä vuoteilla, täysi kylpyamme kylpyammeella / suihkulla ja pesukonekaapin. Liukulasiovi oleskelutilassa ja päätason makuuhuoneessa tarjoavat näkymät vuorille ja pääsyn suurelle seulotulle kuistilla, jossa voit rentoutua kuistilla, keinutuolilla (2) ja nauttia ateriasi pöydässä neljällä paikkaisella.
Yläkerrassa on parvi, jossa vuodesohva, makuuhuoneessa queen-size-vuode ja oma kylpyhuone (iso suihku, ei kylpyammetta). Parvella pääsee pieneen peittämättömään parvekkeeseen. Ylemmän tason alueilta on myös näkymät vuorille. Mökin ympärillä on iso kansi, joka kietou etuovesta seulotulle kuistille.
Vaikka pyörätuolia ei päästä, vain kahdella askella päällystetyltä ajotieltä päätasolle ja päätason makuuhuoneeseen / kylpyhuoneeseen, liikuntarajoitteiset vierailijat nauttivat oleskelusta mökissämme.
Mökkiin johtava tie on päällystetty koko matkan, ajotie on melko tasainen ja päällystetty myös. Siellä on runsaasti pysäköintitilaa 2-3 autolle ja alue, jolla pieni vene tai vesiskootterit voidaan pysäköidä loman aikana.

Fantastic month-long stay in the north Georgia mountains! Clayton is a great small town with everything we needed to enjoy the holidays. The cabin is wonderful - well appointed, beautiful decor, comfortable beds, clean and updated bathrooms/kitchen, and a great cozy fireplace. Best of all: the screened-in porch allows for breathtaking views from atop the mountain! Enjoyed the nightly sunsets and watching the town below.We were able to use our location as a perfect launching point for day trips to Foxfire Museum, Dollywood and Pigeon Forge TN, Biltmore and Asheville NC, Atlanta for the aquarium and museums...not to mention the great hiking in Tallulah Gorge SP, Warwoman Dell, and access point to the Appalachian Trail! Cannot say enough great things about this property and location.The owner/host is fantastic - she provided guidance, suggestions, and was an excellent communicator! Will DEFINITELY be coming back when good fortune allows!

Slice of heaven!

This Charming Cabin, on Screamer Mountain, has become our favorite rental in the North Georgia Mountains! Clean, cozy, and comfortable, it is the perfect retreat for my husband and I. We rode out around the lakes, and toward Highland, and this was the 2nd year we have enjoyed the peak fall colors in the area. ❤️🍂🎃The fall colors and landscaping around the cabin are breathtaking, as well. The screened porch, and view of Blackrock is so nice! The Clayton Cross lighting up each evening is icing on the cake! We made great memories there! This was our third stay here, and we hope not our last! Kudos to our host, and her attention to detail, inside and out!! ❤️

Girls trip to the mountains.

This cabin has a great view! Very clean! It has comfortable beds, nicely decorated and the kitchen is stocked with any cookware you might need. You are VERY close to town so no problem if you want to run in to the grocery store or go to a restaurant. There are many restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed Fortified! Get reservations! Cute shops & do not miss Reeves Hardware Store.

great except for the smell

everything was great except for the smell of mothballs. I spoke with the owner and she explained that there had been a squirrel infestation and the exterminator used mothballs. I ALMOST couldn't stay there. Luckily we had warm weather so everyday we would open windows and air the place out. I want to rebook for next year but am afraid of that horrid smell! Other than that we had a great experience. The view is fabulous and everything was quite wonderful

Excellence in every way!

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay by a few days. We did not want to leave. Denise has thought of everything, and the cabin is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The views are outstanding. We have already planned to come back for every anniversary. This is a special place. Highly, highly recommend.

In search of curvy roads!

1st & foremost, Denise is a wonderful property owner and host, available and very thoughtful! Everything that could be needed was there, and the cabin is the perfect size with a very relaxing view. The notes and documentation regarding the 'care and feeding' of the property and the alerts to the mailboxes was very thoughtful and concise, more than adequate! I was pulling a Honda Goldwing on a motorcycle trailer and had no issues with the drive or parking. There actually is enough room to make a careful 3 point turn to leave heading out front first! Thanks for a very relaxing week, hope to do again soon!

Perfect couples getaway.

This was our 2nd stay at the Charming Cabin. This gem, up on the side of Screamer Mtn. has all the comforts of home! The host provides many small details that other rentals lack. Nearby shopping and dining, the beautiful springtime, mountain scenic drives, and the peaceful and quiet screened porch to come home to! My husband and I had a wonderful Anniversary week!

The cutest cabin

My husband and I enjoyed 2 nights here. It was just as the pictures showed, so cozy, cute, and clean. Denise is very thoughtful- this cabin has everything you could need and more! The view was so pretty and the cross lit up across the mountain was beautiful. The screened in back porch is so relaxing and the decor inside is cute. Bed and pillows were comfy and blankets were perfect. The location is great. Downtown Clayton has cute shops and around town has all the basics. 13 minutes from The Dillard house and 15 minutes from Tallulah Gorge. Denise was on top of our arrival instructions and quick to respond to messages. I highly recommend staying here and we hope to come back!

If you want a fabulous view this place is for you. This cabin is well stocked & clean. Oh what a wonderful screened porch & swing. The beds are SO comfortable too! Great big TV with Direct TV This place is so relaxing & very close to the town of Clayton (7 minutes down the mountain to town). Clayton has great restaurants & super cute stores. Don’t miss Reeves Hardware Store. It has everything from gifts to clothes.

Just, WOW!

We just spent a wonderful week in this beautiful cabin! It was perfect for my husband and I, to celebrate his Birthday, and enjoy the splendid fall colors . Denise was available, and we touched base, but we had NO issues! Check in and out was a breeze. She gave us great directions, to get up 'Screamer' mountain! 😳 It can be tricky. And we hit peak fall color week in North Ga, and surrounding areas! The cabin was clean, well stocked, and Denise thought of everything one may need, to be comfortable. It is private, quiet, and close to town! The screened porch was wonderful, and seeing the Cross light up, on Black Rock Mtn. each evening, and the vibrant fall colors around the cabin, were both icing on the cake! It was cold a few nights, but we bundled up to enoy that porch! We were thrilled to have the DirecTV, and there is a great selection of movies, too! The decor was very nice and gave it a true, mountain cabin feel. The queen bed was very comfy. It would be comfortable for a group of 4. It is the nicest rental we have found, so far, and we are already planning to return to Charming Cabin, in the Spring, for our Anniversary! Thank you, Denise.

Hated to Leave

Had a terrific time during our stay! The cabin was beautiful and surpassed our every expectation. Denise was very helpful and informative, even sending directions so we would avoid the congestion of Atlanta traffic. I was also amazed at how well stocked the cabin was. Lots of little touches that made our time there memorable. But my best memory was seeing my kids so content, sitting in their rocking chairs on the back porch, enjoying the magnificent view. We so hated to leave.

Absolutely perfect

I could not have loved the charming cabin any more! We spent most of the day on the road sightseeing but the back porch is where we spent our evenings enjoying the incredible view and the peace and quiet. The giant cross on Black Rock mountain lights up every night and was beautiful. The decor of the cabin was so adorable and the beds were very comfortable. Denise has made sure that there is everything you would need to have an enjoyable stay and was such an amazing host! I would highly recommend Charming Cabin to anyone and let me just say, the location was close to Highlands NC which was incredible and South Carolina is right around the corner. So much to do right around Clayton and everything you need is right there. The girls LOVED the cabin and we would definitely go back. Thank you Denise for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin!

Charming Cabin Lives up to it’s Name

Two friends and I stayed at Charming Cabin for two nights and we were wanting more! The cabin was spotless and was decorated in cute mountain style. But our favorite was the large screened porch with an unobstructed mountain view. The cabin is tucked away in the woods and feels private. I can’t wait to go back!
