”Right off the highway, yet close enough to both the Indiana Dunes State and National Parks that we were able to make multiple trips to both during our short stay. Highly recommend Wagners, local restaurant, for the rib dinner.”

”This motel is very overpriced for the amenities and cleanliness. This is a motel and yet the front door do not automatically opened. With luggage this was very difficult to navigate. Looking at the ventilation unit filter, one can tell that this room has not been cleaned. The window was open. The shower head was Filthy! There was no plug in the drain to take a bath. Highway noise all day and night. The carpets are brown, as to not show dirt? Breakfast had waffles but the batter was...

”This hotel is just off the beaten path but accessible to all local attractions. It is clean, cozy, and quiet. The rooms are spacious but cozy, and have everything you need to feel at home during your stay. The grounds are very pretty and well maintained, the common areas are very comfortable, and the pool and dry sauna are a great way to wind down at the end of a busy day. The breakfast is the icing on the cake!”

”Bathroom floors were dirty and sticky. Room was supposed to have blackout curtains…room had sun shining through the windows at 5:30AM. Awful!! Manager was very rude and said they knew the curtain wasn’t there/damaged and have a curtain on order - sorry that’s unacceptable for someone to stay in the room!! Never would stay there again.”

”My family LOVED the Furness Mansion. It was such a comfortable stay, the owners were so accommodating and kind. The location is beautiful, the home was beautiful and we were all comfortable.”

”A pretty interesting stay. Expedia said check in was at 3, but when we arrived, a clearly posted sign said check in was 4. There was no one in the lobby and I had to press a button to ring for them. The man at the counter was nice enough, but he needed to go check to make sure our room was cleaned. We waited close to 10 minutes in the lobby before he returned. There was no A/C in the lobby and there were dehumidifiers running in the halls. When we checked in I was not asked for ID or a credit...

”My key cards didn't work at 4:30am and no one was working the front desk, had to sit and wait 45 minutes in the lobby for someone to finally show up.”

”Suited our purposes for a short stay. Room was fine, though bathrooms are dated and there were some questionable hairs on the walls and ceiling. Wifi, ice machine, and air conditioning all worked well. Breakfast included was plentiful and had a good selection, and location was convenient with lots of restaurant and shopping options nearby.”
