Copper Canyon - Luxury Lodge located on Private Lake

This luxury lodge is located on Lake Nora (15-acre private lake) and just 1 mile from CeNita Vineyards and only 2.5 miles from Yonah Mountain Vineyards. Bring your own kayak, canoe, paddle board or inner tubes to play in the water. Please bring your life jackets, too! There is "catch and release" fishing off Copper Canyon’s private dock.

Relax with cocktails on the deck as the sun goes down or gather round the outdoor fire pit. The chef of the group will fall in love with the full gourmet kitchen featuring all stainless steel appliances, a six burner gas range and a commercial grade refrigerator.

The great room has a gas fireplace with beautiful stonework from floor to ceiling and a large flat screen TV. When you are ready for a workout, head downstairs to the fully equipped fitness room. There is nothing like finishing the day relaxing in the covered hot tub overlooking the lake. For more privacy, the master bedroom features a soaking tub and a steam room. Rack 'em up for a game at the championship pool table, too!

This is the ideal location for you and your guests with reception and wedding venues so close by! Entertainment is just around the corner in Alpine Helen. In and around the small Bavarian style village you can enjoy dining, shopping, hiking, fishing, miniature golf, zip line adventures, horseback riding and more.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Copper Canyon is a Luxury Property available to families or to guests 25 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 6 vehicles. The garage is not available to guests. Trailers, RVs and Motorcycles not allowed.
• Access: The road is paved up to the property
• Pets: Copper Canyon is Not pet-friendly. No pets allowed.
• Boats: Motor driven boats are not allowed on Lake Nora at Copper Canyon.
• Location: 12 miles to downtown Helen.

Perfect Family retreat

We had a wonderful family vacation that accommodated four generations. There was something for everyone. The house was beautiful and the view of the lake was spectacular. The house was beautifully decorated and cozy. I highly recommended this house for a relaxing getaway.

What a view!!!

Our group was in the area for a wedding and this location fit the bill for all of us to be able to stay under one roof. The view is stunning! It's the main reason I chose this rental. Everything inside was immaculate and plenty of common spaces to spread out to. The home also supplies tubes for floating on the lake. We did not use the gym, but what a bonus! Location does not provide any beach towels so bring them if you can. My only issue: the downstairs primary suite is noisy if you have anyone staying in the bedroom directly above and is also located at the point where everyone must pass by going between floors. Tell friends and family to tippy toe unless you are a hard sleeper. That is a minor issue and I would certainly rent this VRBO again! Had a great time with the locals in Downtown Cleveland as well - very welcoming!

Great Getaway

Second time we have stayed here and hope to book again! Everything was great with the home and the helpful staff! Very clean and plenty of room to gather for meals and games! Of course the view of the serene lake is spectacular … couldn’t have enjoyed it more thanks to those who made it possible!!😊

Great family property

The house was beautiful as described. Plenty of room for a family. We loved being on the lake. Everything was well kept. We would revisit this property. My only issue was the mattresses in all bedrooms but one upstairs was just awful. We had to go buy a mattress topper for the master bedroom downstairs. This is such a beautiful property but a great night sleep means everything to people on vacation, especially with the expense of this property. Other than mattresses it’s perfect.

Relaxing and enjoyable

Our family loved sitting on the porch each morning looking out over the beautiful view, while sipping on coffee. The dock was the family favorote spot. If they were not fishing, they were jumping in and out of the water. Location was not far from town and lots of adventure awaiting all around. Our family would definitely go back.

Fun for the whole family!!!

Great cabin, with plenty of room for our group of 12. The family enjoyed swimming in the lake, and the kids caught a ton of fish. The sunrise view in the morning was beautiful, and Helen was just a short drive away. Management was also great... we had an issue with the Air-conditioning the first evening, but it was quickly resolved within a few hours.

Beautiful home on a beautiful “lake”

My husband and I and our 3 grown children stayed here over Easter weekend. The house was exactly as photos show. And the dock and little lake are even prettier. Bedrooms were very nice, spacious and comfortable beds. Great room has lots of seating and is perfect for larger groups. The house is equipped with almost everything you could think of. Sadly it was 40 degrees and pouring all day on Saturday ( our 1 full day). But the fireplace made it cozy and we enjoyed the pool table and games provided. The hot tub would have helped but it is quite small, antiquated and not very hot. Also the fireplace on the deck(shown in photos)is obviously non-functional. Not sure if it’s customary to not provide wood for the fire pit, but I wish we had known that. Calling the kitchen a ‘chefs kitchen’ is a reach, but it was well stocked (albeit slightly old dishes, glasses, utensils, etc). These are just a few picky things. Otherwise the place was fabulous and I highly recommend it. For some reason none of us had cell service, so contacting management ( they leave a phone number for weekend help) wasn’t an option. Our daughter was surprised with a proposal from her boyfriend on the covered lower deck, so this house will hold a special place in our hearts! Don’t hesitate to book this house.

Amazing home !

We were in the area for a wedding 11 people in total, we had ample room (even for 3 busy children!) The property way exceeded our expectations- I can’t speak to whether or not the company handled problems in a timely fashion because we had zero issues :) We have no reason to be back in that part of the world but if we did, we’d absolutely book this again !

Absolutely loved that cabin, it was so cute that they had Christmas décor and tree up inside for the holiday! Few Suggestions: update the bathrooms and make the dbl queen room a king bed.

Fantastic Stay!

This was one of the most fabulous family trips we’ve had! The home was not only beautiful, but it was well kept and stocked. We truly felt at home. In spite of the large size, it was extremely cozy. Also, I can’t say enough about the property manager!! They were terrific!!! To say they were speedy in their response time, is an understatement. They were super hospitable and on top of our stay. We will definitely be back!!
