Our room was not properly cleaned. There was a cracker on the floor. Hair on the floor and in the sink of the bathroom. Debris on the floor. Dirt and marks all around the bed skirt. Hand/finger marks all over the closet doors. Spilt substance on the wall where the bathroom door slides. The bathroom smelled really bad.
They gave us a new room…
It smelled a lot better (like new carpet) HOWEVER, debris all over the carpet. I mean a ball of weave hair, actual pieces of garbage like plastic and a plug cap. A TOENAIL IN THE SHOWER. Marks on the mirror from a spill or splash of something. Hands prints all over the glass window. DUST built up on the ledge by desk.
We were more comfortable in that room and decided to stay put. But it is clear the cleaning service is not doing their job. Too many obvious standard things missed. I was really disappointed and frustrated that a clean room didn’t seem possible. I’m not looking for perfect but a thorough vacuum and wipe down should be guaranteed. The staff was very kind and noted the both room conditions. I would not stay there again, nor would I consider another Westin hotel
