Mökit – Cléville

”Miljöö ja hotellin ulkonäkö epäilytti mennessä, toimiva kokonaisuus, hotellin henkilökunnan palvelu oli superluokkaa.”

”My husband didn’t like having to go up 60+ stairs to our room and he found the bed a bit ‘lumpy’. We didn’t have breakfast as we left at 6.30 am to catch the ferry. Stair carpet looks tired and ready for replacement. Conveniently located for the ferry port and near to the beach front. Plenty of restaurants offering good menu choices in the area.”

”The room was like a tiny box with hardly any room to move around. The bed was comfortable and the bedding of good quality. It looked old and tired. The outside of the room was very unappealing, shutters tightly shut and dirty paintwork, grubby is the right adjective. Breakfast was excellent. I understood when I made the booking that dinner was served at the hotel. This was not the case. Consequently, we had to go out to find somewhere to eat. Industrial estates don't have restaurants. We ended...

”Room air conditioning didn't work, and hotel wasn't able to fix it even though we mentioned about the issue. The room was very hot and it was almost impossible to sleep. Especially the bathroom wasn't very clean. Pillows were weird and very small sized. On a positive side I have to mention that the hotel's automatic checking machine worked perfectly and was easy to use.”

”Friendly staff, great feeling and a stunning, beautiful city.”

”The reception staff were very helpful and were happy to advise about places to eat, visit etc in the area. The room was clean, as was all areas of the hotel. There is a small bar area which serves snacks and drinks. There was a good continental breakfast serving bread, cheese, meat, yogurt etc. All in all a good stay in a modern hotel not too far from the D Day beaches and museums.”

”Well placed if you've just come off the ferry or you're sailing early in the morning. Secure parking, straightforward breakfast. Small rooms but great for a quick stopover place.”

”Beautiful orchard with many cows and apple trees. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious with the hosts’ own products eg apple juice, jam, honey and hot milk. The hosts William and Dominique were lovely. I miss the stay in the farm.”
