Chalet't – Clifden

”Nice bungalow. Problem with oven door which was a pity but I’m sure it will be replaced. Spacious bungalow with plenty of room for the five of us. Lovely views and great location for exploring - we have been coming to the area for fifty years so we didn’t need to venture far anyway. Clifden/Kylmore/Cleggan all within 20/30 mins drive. Good communication with the host and very friendly and helpful. I would recommend and book again !!”

”I was traveling with my daughter, husband and mother-in-law. The place was so nice - everyone was happy with their room (comfy beds) and bathroom. The condo is well equipped for cooking and eating in or super close to many restaurant and pub options. Bring your own ground coffee though if that is a must have for you! Quite close to Connemara National Park and the abbey - and so much more! I would definitely stay here again.”

”We were not booked in via Vrbo ? Apparently it had to be done manually? Clearly the communication between Vrbo and The Ivy was not working, however a room was found for us, had to be changed from a double to a twin as per specifics of our booking. Newly decorated and carpeted room, very lovey, dated shower and NO mattress cover on the my single bed ? Yuk. ”Our visit to Tully, Renvyle was the Ireland I wanted to experience. The drive through Connemara to get there was unforgettable, and once we arrived we were great with a small village right on the sea. We misread the arrival instructions, so we only gave John a 30-minute warning but he was ready for us when we arrived. Parking was free and just alongside the B&B. ”The accommodation is both a bar/restaurant and a b&b and sits next to the eastern pier about 400 metres from the ferry drop off. Despite my room being right above the bar - which was happy and full of chat - it was perfectly quiet in the evening. I had a great full Irish breakfast the next morning. Service was pleasant and friendly. Great!”
