”Staff were super! Loved the drink and snack in the evening and breakfast. All food was good. We sat at the bar and both nights the bar tender was great. The rooms love seat had a tear in the cushion. The shower door didn’t shut properly so leaked onto floor. The bathroom drain must of been clogged because it drained very slow. The nice part was the bed and pillows. Very soft and comfortable.”

”So disappointed in what they have done to this once beautiful hotel. It had so much personality. Not now. It is now a Comfort Inn and it looks awful. The room was clean but no coffee maker. The worst part is you could not use the hallways in the morning to go to breakfast. You had to go outside to get to the breakfast area. Glad it wasn't winter. The staff were great. It's not their fault. Won't be going there again.”

”Very old school motel. Driveway entrance give feeling of not well maintained property but it was very clean, the rooms were very spacious albeit dated.”

”Our king bed room had everything we liked and wanted, from the friendly guy at check in to the big bright bedside lamps to the spotless bathroom to the comfortable bed to the substantial breakfast offerings.”

”This is probably the best hotel in Freeport since it’s right in town and has a big parking lot. Parking is free but you must get a tag from the front desk. Another helpful amenity is bar which stays open til 11pm. Overall the room was basic but offered everything you need. I wish breakfast was included however they charge $20 for a breakfast buffet that most other chain hotels offer for free.”

”The room was impeccable, cleanest we have stayed in a long time . Bed comfortable , TV options , refrigerator, micro all in great working order , shower hot with excellent water pressure .”

”Great old world style property with good food. We have stayed there several times with very favorable results. The room however on this trip was too small to comfortably hold two adults. Very little room between the beds and the walls and not much room to get dressed or store luggage. Just make sure you request a larger room.”

”Our room was right next to the lobby. It was very noisy and there did not seem to be any regard that there may be customers sleeping during all shifts. The room was so close to the hustle and bustle of the front desk there was no getting away from people/staff talking all hours...not much sleep and couldn't change rooms. I would recommend not staying on the first floor near the lobby.”

”Location is close to main downtown area, although you do have to cross a busy road. 555 North Restaurant is located in the hotel and has good food. Brunswick is a nice enough town; Bath is more interesting and closer to some of key attractions.”
