The house was the original kitchen house for the 1873 Firmstone Manor house, it has central A/C, heat, and high-speed Internet, and is one level, has two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, another with a queen-size bed, a bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower, a full kitchen with refrigerator, range, and dishwasher. The cottage also features a spacious family room with a dining table. Use your Roku guest account for the 4-k streaming TVs in each of the bedrooms and family room. Firmstone Manor, a Victorian home built in 1873 by Harry Firmstone, also sits on the property and is one of the largest surviving homes in Alleghany County. We are in the process of restoring Firmstone Manor and the rest of the cottages on the property.
