We had a very relaxing stay at the Whidbey Hidden Haven cottage. The listing pictures are a perfect representation of the property, which is well-maintained with a very hip vibe. Decor is eclectic with vintage mid-century pieces mixed with modern and boho furnishings. Check-in was very easy and the checkout process was equally easy. We had a small problem during our stay and the owner could not have been more responsive and easy going. There is a really nice gas grill on the front porch which was terrific for cooking out. The kitchen is well stocked with a Britta filtered water pitcher, dishes, utensils, pots and pans. But be sure to bring measuring cups if you need them; we didn't find any, and the spices were a bit on the basic side so be sure to stop off at the Red Apple Grocery shop on your way in. The towels are luxurious fluffy white Turkish bath towels, and the downstairs shower is very chic with a waterfall shower head as well as jets and a hand wand. Divine. The loft bed is comfortable, and there is ample storage for your use in the bedroom, watch your head especially for midnight bathroom breaks. Note there is no TV in the house, nor is there a microwave or dishwasher. Not a big deal, but good to know ahead of time. There is a wood-burning stove provided with wood and tinder which was a very thoughtful touch. We recommend Sprinklz for an ice cream treat on a hot day. If you are looking for a good place to eat for breakfast, brunch or lunch the Braeburn in downtown Langley was superb. All in all a very comfortable stay in a cozy cabin tucked away on a nicely wooded parcel in the Clinton area.
