”It’s an old motel but it did exceed my expectations. The only issue I had was that there was no body wash in the container on the shower wall labeled body wash. My husband went to the office and was told someone would come in a few minutes but they never showed up. Husband went back to the office and was handed the small plastic tube type of shampoo, conditioner and a few small bars of soap. Good enough, but a little disappointing. ”

”The hotel is new, clean, and spacious. The staff was professional and accommodating. Breakfast was good…the same as most hotels I have patronized. The biggest downfall was that the parking lot was cordoned off as it had recently been paved. Customers had to park in the Panera Bread and/or Movie Theater parking lots. (My husband is a retired Hotel Manager…usually when a new hotel is built, the parking lot is paved PRIOR To OPENING!!!) As a person with disabilities I did not appreciate having to...

”We had a lovely long weekend stay at this property at the end of March 2025. Our room was a very spacious efficiency. The wifi was good. There was plenty of parking available. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby restaurants or go to the boardwalk. There is laundry available. There is no fitness area. Highly recommend.”

”I'll start off with the positives: - The greeter, who I presume was the owner, was kind and allowed me to start my check-in early (with a fee, but that was to be expected). - The property, despite having the layout of a motel, looked very nice. ”Depending on your need for staying in a motel Solano provides a nice respite. We chose a king room , which was brightly decorated. The room had a microwave which could accommodate a larger travel mug height and a larger width . Pleasantly surprised with this for our purpose of cooking / heating . They do not have and set up for continental breakfasts . The kitchen area has a small sink , above microwave, mini refrigerator and several cupboards . It is very homey as if you were going to stay...

”Over a month ago I reserved a smoke free room and when I got there on 10-14-17 they only had a smokers room left which was so unpleasant and the bedspread had nail polish on it and was not the cleanest, and the room smelled terrible. JoAnn Schaeffer”
