”Security at the property? I got to the site around 1130 pm and there was an active theft happening in the parking lot, the guy ran off when i pulled in. I reported it to the receptionist and he did a great job handling it. Was a little taken back to learn that there were no cameras on the front of the building towards the parking lot. Then the next day at my meeting a person there said that he had stayed there a few weeks ago and his truck was broken into, and another guy said that it happens...

”New mattresses were comfy. Shower curtain well worn. Unfortunately, the hot tub had been removed and paved over. However, the pictures still show the hot tub. Breakfast: Egg patties were dry on the edges and not very warm. Juice machine out of order.”

”WiFi is not available in all the rooms. If you are on one of the end units, their WiFi does not reach that far. It’s an older building, but is well-maintained. If you want to heat up water or coffee in the microwave, bring your own cup.”

”The halls were stuffy old looking but wallah the room was very clean and nice. Wish I'd remembered coffee in the lobby. Nice size clean fridge in room. Parking was a bit tight but doable . Mattresses were wonderful slept very well. 4plus overall”

”Smells like Mold when you walk in the doors, the restaurant was already closing and the rooms... I get reinvention is hard but what they did was next level. The room its self is fine but the bathrooms don't trust the photos! Our was not the same as pictured also there isn't ac in the room or fans. It looks like a rent by night hotel with a big fancy price tag. No thanks! 0 out of 5 stars”

”Had a great breakfast in the morning! Our kids loved the smores bar. Perfect location to walk down to the aerial lift bridge and watch the boats come and go.”

”The room smelled horribly of urine, the door to the room would not lock or even stay shut. The area is sketchy. Did not feel safe or comfortable, moved to another hotel and did not get a refund. Terrible on all accounts.”

”This place was nice mostly, it was clean and the location was good. The main complaint was that our tv didn’t work. The gal that worked there put in good effort to fix it but ultimately it never worked. It was clean and the breakfast was decent. I would stay here again and just hope the tv worked.”

”Great service, perfect location near the lake, restaurants, and the UW Superior campus. Appreciated how safe everything felt and a wonderful breakfast to start our day.”

”Clean room, good breakfast, nice staff but they seemed a bit annoyed because I asked to check in 15 minutes before 3:00. We waited in the lobby and when I heard them checking someone in I went back and then was given a room.”

”Pool could use a heat pump it was colder ther the lake but otherwise our stay and view was awesome!”

”We stayed in the Creekside Suite and it was sweet experience! The room was located on the second floor and it was nicely set up, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The windows and balcony had nice views. The coffee, muffins and fruit were lovely in the morning. The building was quiet and other guests we passed by in the common area were friendly. We would enjoy staying here again!”

”Cute little place on Lake Superior! The place was very clean and the staff was very kind & helpful. The hotel has a popcorn bar with fixings from 4-7pm in the lobby and smores in the evening out on the patio area, both were a great “free” perk! Only things that weren’t great was that the hot tub is pretty small (capacity of 5 people) and the balconies don’t have a lot of privacy. Otherwise a very nice stay!”
