”The view is what sells the apartment .. it's all downhill from there really. Or should I say 'uphill' as there are 53 steps and 4 potholed paths to get to and from the top apt. Had the number of steps been advertised I would not have booked a stay at the Cove. There is quite a lot of noise from the road and railway which runs right outside. If the look they were going for was 'shabby chic' .. they certainly achieved 'Shabby' ! Walls marked and plaster crumbling away in various places. ...

The drying rack in the kitchen had a grime build-up, and the shower floor was quite grubby. I also noticed some hair on the floor under one of the beds, and the vase was hiding an ant family that came out during the night. ”Stylish and friendly hotel with a very welcoming vibe. The room was immaculate the bed extremely comfortable. ”

”The guesthouse was situated high up in the hill, so we had an excellent view to the bay from our balcony. Perfect spot for sunrise. Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Wi-fi was fast. Breakfast had a good variety of everything and kept you going on until lunch. The location was perfect for exploring surroundings. Perfect stay with friendly hosts! ”

Breakfast only available between 8:00-9:00 the other option from 9:00-10:00 was already sold out at our check in time at 16:00 the day before. We had no aircondition in the room. The room had 35 degrees on our arrival. We were not able to sleep due to the heat.”
