Perfect for large families or groups of friends, this oceanfront escape is more than ready to assist in making the best beach memories here in Cloverdale! From the moment you arrive, you will fall in love with the coastal shake exterior and breathtaking backdrop of the blue waters of the Pacific! Inside, everyone will love spreading out and claiming one of the four bedrooms to themselves. Plus, the kiddos will have a bunk room that will allow all of the younger ones to have sleepovers together. Every morning will start on a tasty note with the full kitchen just waiting for the chef of the group to show off their skills on modern appliances and whip up a hearty breakfast. Plus, there is nothing better than sipping a cup of coffee in the salty air out on the deck as the morning fog burns away. After spending the day playing on the sand mere steps away or exploring the cute shops of town, return to home base and kick back on the sectional sofa in the living area with a favorite movie playing on the flatscreen TV. If you want to indulge in a bit of friendly competition, the foosball table is more than ready to host a tournament!

Great house, area, view, and mere steps to a very uncrowded beach. Loved the projector TV downstairs and kitchen was well equipped! Could be a dream rental with some upkeep inside and out, but is a bit outdated (furniture especially) and so many broken or missing screens, including no working screen doors for the sliders which meant it was very hard to keep the place cool, even on cool breezy days. Windows that did open all had wet sandy mildew that needs deep cleaning. Needs mattress pad on king bed. The property (managed by Vacasa) was filthy upon arrival: rancid grease and fish smell overwhelmed as opened the front door, ketchup-stained light switches on the main floor, inside mats & stairs sandy and covered with food crumbs/hair, kitchen and other walls with food spatter, and soiled/sandy bed linens we had to rewash. Spoiled food left in the oven by prior guest. We spent the first night and next day cleaning before our friends arrived. We alerted Vacasa upon arrival on a Sunday, and it wasn't until Thursday before they finally responded due to some staffing personal emergencies.Wouldn't stay again unless lots of these were fixed, and it was thoroughly cleaned.

Location, but!

The location cannot be better and the layout of the home is great for a large group- plenty of space to spend time, including a large dining table and a welcome jacuzzi. But, the home itself is in real need of some attention. The outside grill would not light (need of propane?), the screen doors were broken and unusable, the dishwasher’s bottom shelf is broken, double pane windows are not sealed and are full of condensation making it difficult to see through them. But, the very worst are the beds- stained and uncovered box springs, really uncomfortable mattresses, and the bed on the bottom floor has a bed frame that extends into the room and is a danger for those walking around it. Although this is a rental and understandably next to the salt air of the ocean, I would have expected better maintenance for the approximate 1300/night cost.

Great location, house needs TLC

The house is beautiful from the outside and right on the beach which is why some of the reviews are so high. However, many repairs are still needed as mentioned by other reviews dating back to 2024. When you pay this much for one night, you expect no holes in walls, couches to not have rubbed off fake leather, or exposed box spring mattresses on the beds. I do love the location but this place needs some serious TLC.

Perfection

We celebrated my mother's 70th birthday here with my parents, siblings, and niece and nephews. It was an amazing property. I especially loved the views throughout the home and the beach access right out the back door since my parents aren't as mobile as they once were and beach access can be challenging. The hot tub on the back deck was a pleasant surprise since I didn't see it listed as a feature! The kitchen is very well appointed with everything we needed to cook for the whole group.

Great location

If you are looking for a quiet location with an outstanding view and uncrowded beach then this is the place for you. The entire place was very clean and there was ample paper products and soap/detergents/shampoo.The view was incredible and the gas fireplaces greatly enhanced the experience on the gray days. The house could use some cosmetic touchups (scraped walls, broken handles, etc) but that's probably to be expected at a house designed for multiple families and dogs. It's nothing that would stop us from happily staying here again.

Great family get together home.

My family and I stayed at this home for the first time. It was such a great 3 level house. We had plenty of room to spread out and give everyone some privacy. When dinner time came we came together at the large wood dinner table. The house was very clean and well taken care of. Great place to stay.

Last minute trip to the beach with my spouse. Could not believe this home was still available. Wanted ocean front and dog friendly. Right on the beach. Can not beat the view. Loved the stay, will rent this home again.

This was our third stay at this property and the location never fails to disappoint. The house was clean and well appointed, although I would suggest the addition of wine glasses. We only found two and we were 6 adults. We also thought the water leakage around the refrigerator and the nonworking ice maker was solved after speaking with with owner but the next morning there was water on the floor again and the ice maker did not work. All in all the family loved that we could spread out or come together, the house was perfect for our Christmas getaway. We will be back!

Perfect location

We were looking for a home on the beach and this one was literally steps away from the sand. The home was clean when we arrived and everything was in working order. The location was somewhat secluded (homes on both sides but not occupied) and close to shopping and restaurants.

Our group of three couples were very pleased with the location, proximity to the beach and overall comfort and conveniences of the house. Our one issue with connecting with the WiFi was quickly resolved with a couple of phone calls. Great trip, great fun and an experience we all will be recommending to others.

Beautiful beach location

The house was quaint and cute and had everything you need. Perfect access to beach walking out the back door and beautiful views. The only negatives were that the the big screen downstairs had no sound so we couldn’t watch a movie. The karaoke machine didn’t work, and two of the three fireplaces didn’t work. 😕

Our family celebrated our sons graduation from med school and the house was perfect for our celebration. Our group had both adults and children and there was plenty to do for everyone. The house was clean and check-in was easy. We recommend this property and would definelty stay again.

Beachfront Vacation

This big house is perfect for lots of people or just your own family. The views and sounds of the ocean are constant and peaceful. Beach access is just outside the door. The decor is well done and not cluttered. The window coverings worked well (not always the case in other places). The house is well lit and with three gas fireplaces and good heating we stayed very comfortable. Lots of areas for lounging with views. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was mostly well stocked and modernly updated. We needed a frying pan, which was not to be found. One thing that needs maintenance is the upstairs bathroom: the sink and tub drains are slow, water builds up as it’s running; the outlet didn’t work; and the shower light didn’t work. Other than that, everything was in working order, clean, and to our liking. It was mostly very clean. I just had to wipe off the kitchen table before we used it. It’s impossible in a house to have everything working all of the time and have it perfectly clean, so that’s understandable. We would definitely stay here again.

Family getaway

The location of this house couldn’t be better. It spots right on the beach and is nestled in a very quiet area. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and plenty of space in the dining room to enjoy family meals together. The view from the home is spectacular!

Our only problems were the gas fireplaces. It's October and we had some damp and slightly chilly weather. Only the kitchen fireplace worked but it would have been wonderful to have the living room one available for most of the time instead.

Sit back & relax!

Amazing house! Spacious and open for everyone to enjoy. The windows facing the ocean allowed us to hear and watch the waves as we sat and ate at the dining table, while we sat around in the living room, and in the 2 upstairs bedrooms where we left the windows open so we could drift off to the sounds of the ocean. Complete relaxation!
