”Ein sagenhaft guter Ort zum abschalten, entspannen, genießen. Der Service ist überragend. Das Essen ausgerechnet. Preise für Essen und Trinken jedoch etwas überhöht. Das schmälert jedoch keinesfalls die Gesamtzufriedenheit! 5 Sterne sind verdient. Danke an das ganze Team und im speziellen Keldon für den Service in der Villa. ”

”I would suggest that they upgrade to elevators. Walkin up those small steps /stairs with your luggage was inconvenient. The locks on the door were outdated and hard to open. But it seems safe. Clean room, comfy bed and fresh towels was available. The hotel room was just like in the picture .”

”The location is the key, but overall expensive for the price. When cruise ships are gone Roseau gets extremely quiet and you would do better somewhere else. For example, the nice hotel bar was closed.”

”The Anchorage was just what we needed -- location on the main street with parking for our rental car; clean room with AC, mini frig, electric teakettle/coffee & tea supplies; bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, and open closet/shelves; storm window with a view of the ocean; friendly staff; and a full restaurant right next door! ”We had a standard double room that faced west with the inner yard and partly ocean, so it was nice to have breakfast at the balcony. The room came with a fridge&microvawe (but no cuttlery), which came handy because the restaurant prices were quite high compeared to the meal sizes, although it was tasty. ”There was a mix-up about the room description, but the staff made it right. The restaurant bar staff were fun and attentive. Air-conditioning was truly a blessing! Balcony was a perfect view of the ocean and we got a bird's eye view of ocean wildlife coming ashore in the morning at breakfast. Room was clean and adapters were provided for electronic device usage and charging. I would definitely visit here again.”

When the men arrived at the bottom of the stairs, they were sitting and never responded to the "hello", maybe because of my complexion, whatever, I didn't try to say hello again after that. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds.
