”The check in process was quick and the staff was super friendly.The room was clean and spacious. There was plenty of television channels. The bed was fairly comfortable. They offered a free breakfast but we did not try it. There is an antique/picker store right next door and it was awesome! Starbucks close by also. I would stay here again. Thank you!”

”The rooms had a stale smell. The plugs in the bathroom did not work. The mattress & sheets had stains on them. There were roaches in the rooms. My niece also stayed & we both had to leave. No way we were staying in those conditions. When we tried to get a refund they rudely told us they do not do that. When Expedia contacted them the denied it all & said they offered us a new room. For us they did not but they did for my niece & it was just as bad. Stay far, far, far away from this place! ...

”Enjoyed our stay here. Room was nice and very clean. Bed was comfortable. A/C worked great with no humidity in the room whatsoever. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. I have zero complaints. Would highly recommend.”

”The room was comfy, especially the bed. Lighting in the room itself was plentiful but it could have used at least one bright light in the main room. The bathroom was spacious and the shower worked well with good pressure and responsive temp. Both the shampoo and conditioner containers had shampoo in them though. Staff were friendly enough. The only other negative was that there was a fast food bag near the elevator for our entire stay that Housekeeping never disposed of….”

”Front desk staff was very courteous. I didn’t eat breakfast but it appeared to be fresh. The AC kept my room cool and comfortable to my liking. ”

”Old historic facility, beautiful courtyard, but facility itself needs uprating painting. A little remodeling would help elevator wasn’t working made it very difficult for us to take luggage up three flights to stairs to the third floor. Staff was very friendly.”

”Beautiful, clean property. I would not recommend if you experience mobility or balance issues. There is no elevator and the floors are extremely slick which caused my husband to fall multiple times.”

”Very nice old house with beautiful details. This place not suitable for people with moving disabilities because of steep stairs. Our room was located closest to the motorway so the noise of heavy traffic kept us awake at night. If you want a good night sleep ask fir a room somewhere futher away from that road. Walking distance to the city. Note that breakfast in the bistro is not totally free. ”

”My husband and I often stay at this hotel because it's a good halfway point for a frequent trip we drive. We always enjoy our time here! Staff is so pleasant, lobby/halls/rooms are spotless, & breakfast is amazing! ”

”Nice hotel, very clean. The carpet in the halls was bit loose and there were some nicks in the walls from traveler traffic but nothing bad. It's very close to the university of south Alabama.”
