”Realizing that the hotel was 100 plus years old, the lobby was quite nice, check in was fine. We got up to the room and it was clean for the most part. We checked the bed for bugs and didn't find any, AC was very cold, bathroom could have been a bit cleaner but was ok.
What we were dissatisfied with was in order to open close the bathroom door you had to straddle the toilet in order to do so. There was not a box of tissues in the room anywhere, no bucket for ice, I guess you don't need one if...

”We have stayed here twice now. Not too crowded. The scrambled eggs actually taste good. There is an additional sink outside of the bathroom, which is great for when you need to get ready while the bathroom is tied up. Pillow lovers will appreciate that there are 4 pillows for each queen bed.”

”The staff was Amazing and very respectful. The room we had was beautiful, the only thing was the bathroom was just the toilet and shower in a very small bathroom and sink outside the bathroom. The breakfast was OK, Many choices but only hot choice was waffle. Also no elevator and we were scheduled for 3rd floor. But the front desk accommodating and relocated us for easy access on main floor. Traveling with someone being 83 yrs old made it much easier.”

”We decided to stay here for a couple nights for the Duluth Airshow as it was nearby. It was wonderful. Staff was attentive and respectful. The room was clean and ac was working well. The beds were comfy and two types of pillows were offered (firm and soft). The only con is that the walls were a bit thin and could easily here people above us stomping around. If you're sensitive to sound. Would reccomend bringing earplugs to use for sleeping.

”Unique property. Kids loved it. The “house” was smaller than the photos represented, but it was still big enough. The property is loud. Expect really squeaky floors, doors, and furniture. If you are adults traveling with kids, just beware that the bed in the adult bedroom is very noisy, if you know what I mean. The jacuzzi tub is REALLY loud. Like a person couldn’t hear the TV in the sitting room over the roar of the jacuzzi. Kitchen is well-equipped and the decor is cute.”
