I initially booked a 2 queen non smoking room, called the day we were due to arrive to verify that we could have a “no pet” room. I asked to confirm the room type and they said we were in a king room. I told them that is not what we booked through Expedia. They stated because they oversold for that night they had to change our room type. I told them that wasn’t what we booked and we had 4 people. Not our fault they oversold their hotel. They said they would give us an air mattress. Really? They said that they prioritize their direct reservations and Expedia is a 3rd party so they can change the room type if they need to. I told them that wasn’t not acceptable and that I would call Expedia to move me to another hotel. They said they would put me on hold to see what they could do. Finally came back and said we could have our original reservation of the 2 queen beds. We wish we had just gone to a different hotel! We arrived late and the room smelled bad..we didn’t realize there was an overflowing garbage and dirty dishes in the dishwasher until morning. So gross. The towel rack kept breaking in the bathroom. Went to breakfast 10 minutes before it ended and there was barely any food left. They told me that it ended at 9, which we knew…but didn’t imagine they wouldn’t stock breakfast until 9!
Overall, not a good experience, will definitely not stay here again!!
