The Space:
Solitary Islands Farm 1 by Tiny Away is a coastal tiny house retreat in Mullaway, just 30 minutes from Coffs Harbour and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Clarence Valley. Perched above a valley filled with kangaroos and native birds, it offers sweeping views of the property’s untouched landscape.
Discover nearby attractions like Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve, The Big Banana Fun Park, and Forest Sky Pier, or soak up the coastal charm of Corindi Beach. It’s one of those special holiday homes where nature, comfort, and adventure come together.
A comfortable, 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We also have a second tiny home, "Solitary Islands Farm 2," available with 24 hours' notice.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home and explore the property on foot or by bike.
Swimming is allowed in the creek but not in the dam. To protect the ecosystem, no driving or dogs are allowed in the nature reserve. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
Pre orders available with 24 hrs notice:
- Private chefs are available for bookings with a minimum of 3 weeks' notice.
- Breakfast and food packages cost $25 per person and must be ordered 7 days before your booking.
The Neighborhood:
Solitary Islands Farm 1 by Tiny Away is a cozy tiny house in Mullaway, 30 minutes from Coffs Harbour. It’s a relaxed coastal spot with rugged headlands, quiet beaches, and great fishing. You can cook your catch under paperbark trees or enjoy walks with views of the Solitary Islands Marine Park.
Nearby, Corindi Beach is a peaceful village with beautiful sandy shores. Clarence Valley in Glenreagh offers lovely nature spots. The Golden Dog Hotel is a friendly place for families with good food. In Coffs Harbour, the Big Banana Fun Park has water rides, laser tag, mini-golf, and ice skating. Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve is home to many seabirds, and the Forest Sky Pier in Orara East State Forest offers amazing views of the coast.

By Car:

By Public Transport:
- Local travel requires driving or using taxis
- Courtesy buses are available at all clubs and pubs; simply call to book
- Riding bikes offers a fun way to explore the area's beaches
By Flight:
- Daily flights to Coffs Harbour Airport from Sydney and Brisbane
- The airport is a short 30-minute drive to Mullaway
- Car rentals and taxis are readily available at the airport for convenience
Other Things to Note:
- Wifi is not available
- Gas BBQ grill is available
- Free Firewood is provided
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Mobile reception has good signals for all telco lines
- Smoking is allowed in designated areas on the property
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Pets are limited to one (1) with 24 hours' prior notice and must be kept on a leash at all times. Full pet policy will be provided before arrival.
Important note:
- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
