Majatalot – Cohocton

”Absolutely loved this lodge - beautiful well stocked kitchen, along with treats! Pictures do not do this place justice - it was stunning inside & out…. Peaceful setting, and close enough to state parks Stony Brook & Letchworth, as well as if someone wanted to take a quick wine tour thru the Finger Lakes! Would absolutely book again!”

”Clean, private cabin just what you need to relax . Recommend the property and the host was great and made everything go smoothly”

”Owner was very pleasant, the room was clean, the continental breakfast was a bit on the light side, overall a good stay, no complaints. It is like staying in a motel from back in the 50s.”

”Rooms are nice sized and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is very close to town but there was nothing noteworthy nearby. On the negative side the buffet breakfast was undermanned and under supplied due to staff sickness. The heating system quite noisy but word has it that new units are waiting for installation. My thoughts are that it’s worth another visit for sure but I would not be too forgiving if they under deliver again.”

”Stayed there for 2 nights. When I first entered the building, there were signs all over the place that said no smoking, but it smelled like cigarette smoke throughout the whole hotel. Also, I had to have my keys re-keyed three times to get in and out of my room on different occasions.”
