”Very poor condition, bed mattresses terrible, didn't change towels daily, we did appreciate River view behind hotel. Lots of painting & fixing needs to be done - internally & externally needs to be done. Much too high in price $156 per day. We stayed 3 nights & used 2 rooms - one for friends.”

”Clean room. Basic supplies. Renovated. Parking is easy. Close to Front street but in a quiet area. The only complaint since it is a wooden structure, you could hear the footsteps, ruining water, toilet flushing from unit above. I stayed in the middle floor. Please note there are no elevators. ”

”The rooms were clean but the interior and exterior needed upgrading. Exterior was in poor condition and needs painting. Outdoor stairs and walkways need to be refurbished. Having said all of this, its proximity to shops and food is excellent.”

”My room was great. We had a 2 bedroom/2 Bath suite with a full kitchen, living room and a deck. The grounds were beautiful. Staff was great and the room/grounds were very clean. Would recommend The Blue Elk Inn to any family/friends. Hope to be back in the near future.”

”Overall the stay was good. However the house keeper left several items from the previous guests in different drawers. It clearly had not been swept there is a massive amount of hair under the bed. It felt a little dirty. We were provided three towels for a three night stay. One hand towel. There was a key left in the laundry room I think by accident, that's how I was able to get more towels. The patio screen door was off when we arrived so I could not have the patio door open without a screen....

”We stayed at the Garden Haus and it was lovely. Beautiful backyard (enclosed) hot tub and landscaping was amazing. Had an outdoor grill as well. Kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. Definitely will stay again.”

”If you're looking for basic but trustworthy accommodations, this is it! The rooms were a little dated but very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The breakfast area is also the lobby where you check in, so it can be pretty cozy. But it was a decent spread and served hot. They have a pool but it's very small, and if there's kids in there, basically not usable by anybody else. However, there's a huge public pool literally on the other side of the fence! Staff was very friendly and helpful,...
