Our host Filippo was excellent from the time he greeted us at the property, carried our bags up to our room, arranged taxi rides, provided a wonderful breakfast every morning, provided great and timely communication as well as making dinner reservations for us at an exceptional spot under Roman ruins. ”This hotel/restaurant was in a little village that was absolutely gorgeous. The area had several hiking paths which unfortunately we could not go on. For us it was a thrill to be in this town and the diner they cooked for us was exquisite. Home made. The host/manager was very good, cordial and very welcoming. I highly recommend this place. ”

I would have chosen another hotel if they had publicly announced more detailed information about the hotel's rules. I was locked out of my hotel room after returning from a bike ride. My key card did not work and I had to walk to the reception in my socks because this hotel does not tolerate cycling shoes. At the reception it turned out that I had committed an original sin...
