”This was perfect for a family holiday. The house is clean, spacious and very well equipped for those who want to cook and eat in-house. The garden is lovely, with lots of space and with different areas to sit out. The gite is about a 10 minute walk from Carentan, or a few minutes in the car. Carentan is about 60 minutes easy driving from Caen. Our host, Mme Haubois, was very welcoming and gave us some good ideas on where to eat and visit, and sorted out a minor issue with the washing machine...

Can’t say enough great things about the host— very attentive and excellent communication. ”La Petite Bajocasse is a wonderful house in a perfect location. Peter and Stephanie have made it simply the ideal foundation for whatever plans one has for Normandy and the Bayeux area. ”We have never had such a welcome from a VRBO host. Clarisse knew we had excess luggage from our cruise and because taxi service is limited in Bayeux, she picked us up from the train station. She has set up the best appointed property. It has everything! If you want to cook for yourself, she has everything you need in the kitchen. So many thoughtful items that you don't find in others properties. The location is perfect. The apartment is steps from everything including a sweet grocery store, ...

”A lovely clean apartment for two people with a great host. In a good location for the Normandy Beaches, Caen and Bayeux. The beach was just a short walk away which made for pleasant evening strolls. Sufficient local restaurants to provide good variety during the week. ”
