”My husband, daughter and I wanted to stay in a house near San Jose, and this worked out really nicely. The property is just gorgeous with the flowers and greenery everywhere. Eduardo and Betty are so sweet. We paid extra for dinner and breakfast the first day which was a huge help until we could get to the grocery store.I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone elderly or with little kids—no railing on the stairs or paved paths. ”My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. ”

”This was the last property we stayed at before leaving Costa Rica and it was beautiful. This was much bigger than 2 persons needed but it was beautiful! Its used for events and definitely is above and beyond. The hosts were very nice and provided great advice on local places to eat. Very nice location too. Had a great view of the city from above. ”Nice change of scenery and the manger was wonderful. The cabin was was pefwct for our interests and secluded enough to feel out of the city, yet close enough to go when you wanted. No ac, but not needed because it’s cold up in the mountains at night and the fireplace was used often. I will give some advice to owner however? Do not use vacasa as a broker they were rude and were adding huge fees and costs that were not at all necessary or reasonable. The house was great though, but watch out for...
