Enjoy stunning views over the Potomac River in this waterfront Victorian retreat. With its wide wraparound porch, 4 comfortable bedrooms and timeless character, the home offers the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. Located in the heart of Colonial Beach on The Point, you can walk to shops, restaurants, and stroll 3 blocks to the first beach. Amenities include beach chairs, bikes (one is a tandem!), grill, dining for 10, a stocked kitchen, Wifi, wine fridge and games.

Highlights:
- Expansive wraparound porch with direct waterfront views of the Potomac River. This provides a scenic and relaxing space for guests to enjoy sunrises, coffee, or evening drinks right from the comfort of their rental.

- Historic Victorian home equipped for families and pets. Guests can enjoy the unique character of a 140-year-old home without sacrificing modern comforts, with thoughtful extras like baby gates, a high chair, and pet supplies included.

- Prime walkable location just three blocks from the beach. This allows guests to easily explore the town, enjoy the beach, and access shops and restaurants without needing to drive.

The Spaces:
Recently modernized, but built over 140 years ago, the home blends historic charm with modern comforts. Inside you’ll find:

- A well stocked kitchen with everything you need for family meals or entertaining.

- Two dining areas — one indoor and one outdoor — ideal for gathering.

- A living room with television and comfortable seating for guests.

- A parlor room with a table for games or puzzles and a reading nook for kids.

- Four inviting bedrooms: a king, a queen, a full, and a twin room with two beds — perfect for kids or friends.

- Two and a half updated bathrooms, including a modern shower upstairs and downstairs and a powder room in the dining room.

Amenities:
- The home is thoughtfully equipped for all ages: board games, puzzles, streaming-ready TVs, and yard games. Families will appreciate the pack-and-play, high chair, baby gates, and kids’ dishes. Pet owners will find bowls a seasonal outdoor shower for washing.

We had previously stayed here when it was 'Potomac View,' and while we loved it then, the transformation into 'The Pearl' is amazing. The owners have managed to keep the historic charm while providing a fully updated and comfortable experience.The location remains unbeatable and the wraparound porch with the waterfront view over the Potomac is still the best in Colonial Beach. The interior updates are impressive. The removal of the wall between the kitchen and living room opens up the whole space. We especially appreciated the new central HVAC (no more window units!) and the fast Wi-Fi.The kitchen is stocked with high-end cookware (Cuisinart/Chicago Cutlery) and appliances like the induction range and wine fridge that made cooking easy for our large group. Being able to seat all 10 of us at the new dining table with the crystal chandelier felt very special.The kids also had a great stay. The 'kids nook' was a thoughtful touch and we loved using the new bikes to explore and the cornhole boards in the yard.It is rare to find a 150-year-old home that feels this fresh, warm and comfortable. We are so glad the new owners preserved the heart of this home while making it better than ever! Will be back!
