Tämä on viihtyisä koiraystävällinen mökki lepää aivan hiljaisessa vuoristokaupungissa Woodland Park, CO. Mökki on täysin sisustettu metsällisellä, Colorado-tunnelmalla ja sisustettu puhtaaseen mukavuuteen. Etkö halua irtautua kokonaan? Ei hätää täällä. Tämä mökki sisältää Internet-yhteyden.

Keittiö on täysin varustettu kaasuliesi, jääkaappi, mikroaaltouuni ja astianpesukone sekä kaikki välttämättömät asiat, joita tarvitset valmistaaksesi hyviä aterioita. On täysi kylpyamme suihkulla / kylpyammeella. Mökissä on myös täysikokoinen pesukone ja kuivausrumpu.

Istu jommallakummalle tilavalle kannelle ja nauti uskomattomista näkymistä katsellen villieläinten leikkiä. Peitetyn kuisdan alla on pöytä. Löydät itsesi tähtiä katselemaan yön poissa. Tämä mökki sopii erinomaisesti häämatkalle, vuosipäivän juhliin, perhelomailuun tai rentoutumiseen. Se on todella loistava paikka uudistaa sielusi!

A haven in the mountains

This adorable cabin had everything we needed to tuck in for our long stay while our home was being remodeled. The cabin exterior does not match the pictures on VRBO but it is still cute. It was cozy and comfortable as well as being close to town so we could shop and dine with ease. The few times we needed to clarify things, the property managers were communicative and helpful.It was a wonderful place to stay.

Pillows Are Important

When you there are flat pillows on the couch, chairs, and beds, it is very clear indicator of how the place is managed and what is given priority: money or quality of service to the client. The pillows at this place were horrible. It was like sleeping with your head on cardboard. We ended up bringing in the pillows from the vehicle we travel with because of my physical disability. Plus, there was a very high bed with steps on either side. This wasn't functional for me given my disability that limits mobility. This high bed wasn't listed in the description. We ended up switching bedrooms in the middle of the night. My wife woke up with a splitting headache that pretty much set the tone for the rest of our trip - thanks for that...! There were absolutely no instructions on how to "use the cabin" and we spent 10 minutes trying to get the doors locked when we left for our day of excursions. When I booked the room, I told them I had a disability and would be traveling with a qualified service dog; yet they said nothing about the bed, and I was still charged a $49 "service fee" that was described as a cleaning charge since I had a dog. I didn't think cleaning charges were applied for service dogs? Yet, there has been no credit applied back to my account. The pillows are just one example of how this place needs a serious update and a move on the scale of what is important.

Great peaceful place

Overall we had a great time and thanks for that! Two items you might want to address: The window blinds next to the dining table do not work. They are missing the cord that allows you to pull them up/down. Also, the screens on both doors need to be repaired. We found them torn and taped but falling off. Thanks.

Nice place, some hassles.

The cabin has some charm, but the window treatments are terrible, and you won't be able to open the windows, easily. The lock box didn't open, for key retrieval, and the push button front door lock was horrible: Great fun pushing buttons that don't register. Getting in and locking up when you leave is a five minute hassle. Most windows have plastic panels on them, so very little airflow is possible. We kept the doors open, and the floor fans running, continuously. Kitchen was great, with great appliances. Stove, however, had no exhaust fan. I cook a good deal, so.....bummer. Bathroom was good, excellent water pressure. Overall, a 4-Star property in a rustic looking neighborhood. Rustic, in a good way.

Little slice of heaven in Woodland Park

This is our second time staying at the Big Bear Cabin and it didn’t disappoint. Location is perfect, close to many popular spots. Town is awesome. Met fabulous Woodland Park residents. Look forward to returning!

I'd still stay here again, even though...

Wonderful cabin. Great location. Really, really poor management company. I emailed the company pryor to leaving for our trip asking a question, sent it twice before leaving. 3 weeks later after the trip, I'm still waiting for a response. After arriving at the cabin from a 10+ hour drive, my wife and I spent 30 minutes trying to open the main door. The instructions are woefully cryptic. Finally, the only reason I'm writing this review, (if you dont have anything good to say, dont say it, type of person).... I'm tired of the follow up emails asking for a review. So here you are.

Wonderful place

It was a great little get-away for us. The cabin was everything we expected based on the photos we saw prior to booking. The only criticism was with the Microwave. It was operable but the functionality was severely limited. Only a few buttons actually work. To reset it you had to unplug it. Other than that all was good.

Nice cabin near town

The location of the cabin is perfect for walking into town for the many restaurants and activities! The house was clean except for a foul smell coming from the garbage disposal. The covered front porch was a lovely place to sit and have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine before dinner. The furniture was comfortable and the beds were also very comfortable. I would stay here again and it would be handy if our family with a baby could stay in the house on the same property just behind this house.

Nice older cabin. Good appliances and bathrooms. Heater not adjustable, stays at 65 all the time. At night sounds like a freight train when goes on next to the bedroom where we stayed.

Nice little house

Was a great location for our purpose. Woodland park is so nice. Loved watching the deer in the yard. Dishwasher and refridgerator leaked some but everything worked well. I would go back.

Great Spot!

The home was cozy and perfectly fit what we were looking for. It was a great space that felt like a getaway, while still being close to amenities. The one thing that was pretty off-putting was there is another (occupied) home on the property, 2 feet from the rental house. We were expecting a little more privacy than that given that we were renting a home and didn't see any mention of this in the listing. It didn't end up affecting our trip at all, but something to be aware of if you're looking to book for your next getaway.

Rustic comfort

The cabin was very nice. A little older but very well kept. Comfortable beds and furnishings; all amenities for a pleasant stay. The surrounding neighborhood was very nice, not to close to the high traffic areas. Couldn’t connect to the WiFi, but since we had great data signal it wasn’t a deal breaker, because of our schedule it wasn’t really an issue. Price was very affordable, would stay there again.

cheap

the garbage disposal had a terrible smell and we purchased our own disposal cleaner for it. the bed was uncomfortable and had a sag in the center, which caused sleepless nights. the shower needs updating and someone needs to stop simply adding caulk to the problem areas. the cabin price was cheap and good for a place to just lay your head.

Woodland Park

Comfortable, well-equipped cabin/house. We needed a place to accommodate our dog as well so this listing met that need, however I thought the pet fee was a bit steep. I thought we were going to be a bit removed from others but we were actually in a neighborhood with an additional rental on the same property. These did not affect us though as we were out exploring every day! We did not have to travel far to reach beautiful hiking, natural areas and parks. Woodland Park as a whole was a nice location as we also did a bit of shopping and ate at a wonderful Thai/sushi restaurant. It also was the perfect location for us as we connected with family from both the Denver and Fort Carson areas. I would stay at this property again!
