”This is a hidden gem. Booked last minute and were absolutely blown away by what we found. It rained the day we were there so we cozied up in one of there beautifully appointed nooks and read. ”The location is idyllic. It's also close enough to Vila Nova de Milfontes (great beach and restaurants), and Porto Covo (great beaches) so that you can go during the day to the beach, come to the hotel, and then have dinner again at one of those places. ”

”We had the most pleasant stay in Casas da Moagem. The hotel is located in a small village in the countryside, but it makes a great spot to relax for a few days. Our hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming and we had a delicious homemade dinner there. Also the breakfast was tasty; fresh bread, cheese and ham, fruits, fresh juice and homebaked cake.
