  • Off Grid Stays Treehouse : 'Secluded, wooded, mountainous' a true Montana Experience.
    Nestled on 10 acres, this elevated dwelling provides you with luxury amenities, comfort, and panoramic views of mountains and tree tops; a full emersion in nature.
    Within 30 minutes to Glacier National Park, 25 minutes to Columbia Falls, and 35 minutes to the FCA Airport.
    There is a train that runs at the backside of the property. Inconsistently active dependent on time of year. Ear plugs and fans provided in case sensitive to noise.
    There are privacy blinds in bedrooms and living room.

    - Upstairs balcony access with seating

    This listing is for Unit #3 - there are 4 total dwellings over the 10 acres.
    Each dwelling has been strategically placed for maximum privacy and panoramic views.
    Please note that there may be other guests present during your stay; however no spaces interior or exterior are shared or close in proximity.

    - MUST HAVE a AWD or 4WD vehicle for the Winter duration.
    - Our roads are plowed and maintained regularly during the winter season, however some snow and ice will remain after clearing.

    - 2 Small-Medium dogs allowed, no cats
    - MAX 2 cars
    - NO open fires of any sort
    - NO smoking inside
    - NO trash of any sort is to be left outside the home

Make sure you are aware that there is a 5 mile drive on an unpaved road and I takes about 20 minutes. Beautiful place and everything was great!!

If you want to be away from others, this is the spot. Beautiful home in the trees with the river nearby. The views from the living room are spectacular. Near the glacier park entrance. We enjoyed the remoteness from the hustle and bustle of towns.

Very nice property. We had to use the lock box as the door lock wouldn’t open but that was all explained in what was sent to us. Was clean and had beautiful views. It is about 8 miles of dirt roads and a lot of no trespassing sign private property signs that was a little freaky at first but Google Maps directions brought us right to it! Pretty easy ride to the West gate of the Park.

Overall the place was clean. I found the surrounding properties looked like the outside was weeded and looked clean outside compared to ours, and we were not wanting to use the firepit that was available. I wish they had a full size ironing board knowing it would not take up much space and wish they had an actual coffee maker. I was unaware of the almost 8 miles of gravel road with pot holes you have to drive to get the house. But a unique stay and enjoyed it, we did have to plan ahead for the distance we had to travel.

Stayed for one week. The location was perfect. Very close to Glacier National Park. Accommodations were exactly as described. We drove from Minnesota and were not disappointed at all. Would definitely book again!

Flathead River spot

Great property with gorgeous views and easy trip to Glacier. Keep the camera ready, deer ,bears, elk, and bald eagles might cross your path.

We loved staying at this place!! One of the things I wished the kitchen had was a big pot to make chili in. We also bought charcoal to grill meat but couldn’t find any grilling utensils. A toaster would have been nice to toast bread and bagels. We improvised and used the oven. The beds were super comfy and we stayed very warm inside! It was the perfect Christmas getaway for our family! Our kids are 12 and 14 and enjoyed every bit of it!

Birthday R&R

Absolutely stunning property! Beautiful views from every room with large windows, open layout, and well placed balconies to allow enjoyment of the natural wonders of Montana. Close to Glacier NP, making day trips easy and convenient. Enjoyed every minute! Thanks for having us! Side note - four houses near each other that would make a multi family trip possible:)

The location of this house is what makes it so wonderful! The huge windows looking out on mountain ranges and trees was fantastic! The windows are very exposed though so in the afternoon the sun is pretty intense without blinds. It snowed the first full day and night and we were concerned about getting out to Glacier the next morning. We have a 4wd which we did use, but on the way back everything has been plowed and the road was great. It is far away from town so make sure you have everything you need, but that is also what made it so awesome. We went for Thanksgiving. I had to bring all of my own cooking stuff and I’m glad I did because the house is lacking some things, but they definitely have the basics for the kitchen. The beds are comfortable , the views amazing and overall we will be coming back again for sure.

Nice place to stay

Great views and cozy little house. Other than the power going off if you run the fireplace and oven(had to reset the breaker) everything was great. One thing I’d like to had was blinds/ curtains on widows in living room. When the sun starts setting it lets in way to much sunlight it’s blinding and you can’t even see the tv.

The Box #3 had everything we needed to be mostly comfortable and make the most of our time hiking in Glacier National Park. The trip went super well overall, and we really enjoyed our time.We had trouble operating the washer/dryer unit. We went through a lot of trial and error, and it added stress to our vacation. At first, it took a couple hours for us to get the unit to turn on. After that, we noticed our clothing came out soggy from the washer unless we ran an extra "Spin Drain" cycle at the end. We also found random quirks with the dryer: sometimes the cycle would stop too early, sometimes it would keep going through the entire night, and sometimes it would stop adding heat. We recommend that the host upgrade the washer and dryer to something more reliable.The west wall of the house is a large window, and the views are excellent. However, the sun shines directly through in the evening. During our stay in early September, the house would heat up to 76 degrees F indoors, and up to 80 if we were cooking. The air conditioning units are small and had trouble keeping up. We recommend that the host install shades for all the windows, especially the large one, to avoid straining the AC units. An AC unit in the bedroom on the first floor would also be an improvement.
