”Glorious house! Amazing kitchen! All the spaces were perfect with fantastic views! The pool was beyond our expectations! We needed to stay longer so we could have taken advantage of all the spaces, including the fire pit. Game room was a total hit with our grand children. We are looking forward to another stay at this fabulous "retreat". The host was quickly responsive when needed! ”

”We had such a nice time at Indian Summer. The house was probably the cleanest vacation rental we have ever seen—it was like walking into a brand new house.The kitchen was well-appointed. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals.We enjoyed the kayaks, canoes, and the hot tub at the house as well as several of the nearby hiking trails during our stay.Thanks again for a fun and relaxing visit.”

”While the location was beautiful the house was less than ideal. From broken glass in the yard to mold growing on ducttape on the ceiling, roaches in the kitchen, stained sheets and mattresses this place was not what we expected! We were going to try to make the space work and see it as a glass half full however when several of my kids were having coughing fits because of the mold we had to leave.”

”A magical farm you won't want to leave! Plenty of room to roam and sit outside to enjoy nature during the day. At night we really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub under the lit pergola. Slept like a baby on a very comfortable bed and loved that we had the option for A/C or a fan and that we could open the "garage" door on the unit for fresh air if we wanted. And finally, the best part of Alpine South, the family who runs it. They make you feel like you're staying with old friends from the moment...

”This place is beautiful and amazing, even better than described! Our big family had a great time together and spread out, and the lake was so much fun with the kayaks and paddleboards provided. We played board games when it thundered and enjoyed ping pong tournaments together. We did not get a chance to enjoy any of the free tickets, sadly my phone went in the lake on day 1 (oops) and you are pretty remote out here. Saw the Milky Way! ”The house is very clean and very well equipped. Our stay was for a one night stopover on our way to our final destination. We did feel at home in this cozy three bedroom rental. It served our needs very well and much easier than checking into a hotel. The house is conveniently located just off of I-26. Just like a hotel or any other rentals located just off of a major highway, there is a fair amount of truck and traffic noise. Ear plugs may be helpful for sleeping to help tame some of the road...

”My husband & I stayed 4 nights. This place is about 10 min from downtown Saluda. Very cute little town with some nice restaurants and bars. We went to Chimney rock, Hendersonville, Flat Rock, Dupont state park, a few wineries. So overall a good home base to explore the area. The house is very comfortable with gorgeous views and although you have some neighbors very close by, the way these houses are designed, you still have your privacy.
