”Located in a neighbourhood with lots of construction work and shady streets, brisk walk to downtown restaurants. Food court next door is a plus. Hotel is of modern four class style, room was nice and clean. Staff was helpful and cheerful. Had to change room once due to noises from loading ramp. Strangely, plumbing noisy on first floor, can hear liquid flowing both within 1st floor rooms and even while waiting for the elevator in the lobby.”

”The room (in principle for two) is unusually small. The bathroom had no soap at the sink and cups/glasses (yes, one can get them after asking at the reception, but why should one need to ask?). My room was next to a service area where some kind of a machinery kept on operating all night long. Not too noisy, but audible and not good for light sleepers. Food and drink is fine, the hotel is 5 min walk from the tram station and also 15 min walk from the Darwin Eco area, which is good.”

”I spent 6 nigts at Appart'hôtel Victoria Garden in Bordeaux to participate in a course at the university. Facilities at the were fairly new, nice and neat. I could also control the temperature (heating) in my room. Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful, although I had to ask on two consecutive days for a smoke detector to my room as there was only an empty base left on the ceiling. I recommend the hotel to anyone who does not need 24 hour reception service.”

”My first comment about this hotel is the location. It's definitely a 10/10! You are in the heart of all the great restaurants, shops & many tourist locations. This means there are so many lovely places to choose from to eat, so we never had breakfast at the hotel.
