”This was a charming home and fabulous location, convenient to New Haven and surrounding areas. The host was delightfully nice and wonderful to deal with! The home itself was a great layout for a couple of families, and kids. The view was soothing to the soul, and sitting and having a cup of coffee in the morning was all we needed to unwind and relax! The house is fully equipped for whatever you need. Linens and towels were well organized, and the beds incredibly comfortable! We will be back...

”My stay here was perfect. The property was just as described in the listing and photo's. Keep in mind, it is an older home. Dorothy was excellent. I ended up with another guest and Dorothy had the pull-out couch totally prepared for my guest when we arrived. The apartment was very clean and we had everything we needed. ”It was close to a very pretty beach, which was nice. The neighborhood is very quiet. The only downside was that the bedrooms were up stairs and the stairs were very steep. I didn’t notice that in the write up to the property it might have changed my rental of it. I would rate it very highly for anyone that doesn’t have trouble with stairs. The air conditioning was excellent, and the property is well appointed the owners were lovely and responsive.”

”The location of this property is excellent. The apartment is spacious and in a wonderful location in walking distance to everything in town. There are water views across the street, and that's lovely! Inside the floors are uneven and the layout is unusual. This was fine for us but wouldn't be if I was staying more than a night or two. For instance, the silverware is not in the same room as the kitchen. So preparing and serving a meal would not be as smooth as one might expect. The real issue...

”We chose this house because of the beautiful porch and, I will be real, the pics of the light-up toilets perplexed and astounded us. Neither of these were a disappointment!!!!!!! Porch was beautiful, BOTH toilets light up (I guess as night lights?), hosts were prompt, property was clean, and there was very clear signage everywhere you might want clear signage (house rules, hand soap vs dish soap, etc).
