Lomamajat – Conway Flat

”This motel is located in a quiet town north of Christchurch. Although it is close to the highway, we were not affected by any noise. The bed and lounge were comfortable and the two bedroom “apartment” we booked was very spacious. The kitchenette had all the basic equipment we would expect in a kitchenette, which allowed us to cook a meal. There is a 4 Square supermarket within easy walking distance. We were happy with our choice, spending one night here.”

”A great visit to the whalewatching town of Kaikour”

”Loved view of water & accommodations. Happy hour crew need a little more training. When bringing apps to table, also bring flatware & napkins. Tables had remnants from previous guests that were not removed & tables needed to be wiped. It was not busy so no reason to not be clean. Still enjoyed & would highly suggest to stay here.”

”Väldigt gästvänlig ägare. Rent och snyggt rum, ren toalett. Fin omgivning. ”

”Huone ok. Pyyhkeitä ei vaihdettu ja roskia tyhjennetty välillä.”

”Huone oli erittäin siisti ja mukavan kokoinen sekä kivasti sisustettu.”

”Oikein kiva, tilava huoneisto.

”Absolutely stunning view!! The room was decorated beautifully and we enjoyed the homemade shortbread cookies upon arrival. It was fun meeting other guests over breakfast and sharing tips. The town is a ten minute walk downhill for great restaurants and activities. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.”

”A good experience in it's own category (Motor lodges). Friendly service, good location. Large, very practical and clean room with very spacious bath. Well equipped kitchenette. Could select this palce again.”

”Nice and comfortable room. Short walk to the beach with great views. Has a free laundry room for guests which is very handy.”

”We spent one night here in December. The room was spacious, but somewhat dirty and the door was nearly broken. We were surprised that the lock even held, as it looked as it had seen the better days of its life already. Our unit was next to the railway, which was operational day and night. So it was little shaky so to say. There were only one socket so charging, for example multiple phones, was out of question. Overall the room was good for one night stay, but for longer stays, look elsewhere.”

”Helpful staff, a good basic accommodation while on the road.”

”All good, no concerns. Very clean and easy parking outside the door. ”

”The curtains had mould in them and there was a strong smell of urine in front of our room. The manager was extremely reluctant to give us a refund but in the end we managed to get our money back.”

”Helpful and kind staff. Room with beautiful mountain view. Parking is convinenient. Supermarket is 3min walk only.”

”Lives up to its name!”

”There is not AirCon (so no possibility to cool the room) so there’s wrong information in hotels.com room information. Weird smell in the room (seems to come from carpet and/or kitchen)? Room itself is clean. Nice, quiet area and friendly owners.”
