Great place for overnight stopover. Friendly and good pub meals. Room with ensuite, small and very basic, suited our needs.

The staff were great and it was a perfect spot for us to stop for the night. Bathroom wasn’t amazing but it did the job.

The Coonalpyn Hotel was a great place to stay on our way back from WA. We were looking for an alternative to camping for the night.

This establishment is in need of a major refurbishment. No fridge or coffee making facilities in room. The bed was very comfortable and the meal was excellent.

Hi Colleen, Apologies that your stay with us was not to your standard. We do understand that every room cannot be perfect as it is an old (1960's) hotel building but we do strive to make them as perfect as we physically can 100% of the time.We made the decision to not have coffee making facilities in the room (for many reasons but one of them being the functionality of the rooms) and because of this... we have set up a breakfast room which is available to all of our guest 24 hours a day, 7 days a week where all the facilities are laid out for you to "help yourself".(On check in, the staff member would have showed you where this is?)We are glad that you still enjoyed your bed and your meal! All the best for your future endeavors.

It was extremely noisy with trucks, trains etc. Bathroom didnt have exhaust fan so steamed up the room. TV had a dickie connection so lost volume all the time.

Hi Corinne, We are very sorry to hear of your unsatisfactory experience, as per previous phone calls, you were aware that the hotel was closed on Christmas Day and you were advised to find alternate dinner arrangements. We delayed our trip to Adelaide by a few hours as you had not yet arrived and your mobile number was uncontactable. Due to the fact that we could not communicate with you, we left a note on the front door explaining where your envelope was left - containing your key, a map of the building and further instructions for checking in. Sincere apologies for the miss-communication! Winnie

Art town.
Beautifully presented room. Good shower pressure. Room was small but adequate. I was surprised there was no fridge, but its a pub not a motel. Food was innovative and superb! We cameto see the silo art. It was disappointing nocolour. The other community art was outstsnding, espevislly the tile composition in front of the loos.. with its native animals. The Vision tunnel under the railway line with painted scenrs by thecommunity was fabulous. I recommend the pub.
