”Property and room was exquisite. Unfortunately we were greeted by a very curt and rude staff member who seemed upset that she needed to wait for us to travel here for the evening on a long weekend. She phoned us 3 times confirming our arrival time. We told her it would be around a certain time and she mentioned to us that as it was a long weekend, they wanted to leave earlier then the stated check in time. ”No frills budget room with a bed and a clean bathroom in a 150 year old quirky little mansion. The "breakfast served daily" note in this Expedia listing is to be interpreted as served downtown in the restaurant of your choice (and paid for by you) LOL. The vibe here is memorable and the history is fascinating. We loved our stay.”
