Sunrise Lodge Mt. Waiontha: Kokemus ulkona

Sunrise Lodge sijaitsee vain 14 kilometrin päässä Cooperstownin keskustasta ja on täydellinen pakopaikka. Tämä 2 makuuhuoneen ja 1 kylpyhaun sijainti, joka sijaitsee 100 yksityisellä hehtaarilla, tarjoaa vieraille henkeäsalpaavat näkymät alueelle. Talven saapuessa vieraat voivat hiihtää maastohiihtoa ja lumikenkiä koko kiinteistön alueella. Talvi tarjoaa myös mahdollisuuksia moottorikelkkailuun. Lomamme sijaitsee NYS-käytäväreittiä pitkin, jota ylläpitää Canadarago Snowtoppers, ja meillä on runsaasti pysäköintitilaa kaiken kokoisille kuorma-autoille ja perävaunuille. Polulla varustetun pitkän päivän jälkeen voit palata kotiin ja lämmitellä puuhella.

Sunrise Lodge -sivustossa vieraat löytävät 4 aikuisen ja 2 lapsen makuutilat. Tähän sisältyy yksi queen-size-vuode ja 4 erillistä vuodetta. We absolutely loved the cabin and had a wonderful time as a family fishing and sitting around at the fire pit at night. Such a beautiful place! Brad was a great host! He provided fishing poles and multiple loads of firewood for the fire pit! Short distance to Cooperstown Dreams Park and provided a quiet getaway from the ball field. My grown adult boys absolutely loved fishing in the pond and actually catching fish! Would definitely stay again!

Very nice place, very clean and very well stocked. When I say very well stocked, I mean Brad and family have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The views are incredible, and fishing on the in the ponds on the property was amazing. We stayed during our son’s Cooperstown tournament and the drive in to Cooperstown every day amazingly beautiful. We will certainly return to this place if our younger sons play in Cooperstown. One of the best VRBO experiences I have ever had.

Excellent stay! Brad was so helpful - answering my emails promptly prior to the visit and also helped us quickly during our time at the property when we couldn't figure out the TV. He left supplies for s'mores which were thoroughly enjoyed, and even left worms for my husband and son, who had planned to fish. We've stayed at maybe 5 places together as a family, and this was the simplest and easiest check-in and check-out process we have encountered. The house was perfect for our family and our kids enjoyed every nook and cranny (the loft was a big hit!). The property was beautiful and three of us enjoyed a long walk (and saw two groups of deer) while the other two fished (and encountered wild turkey). We were staying in the area primarily to see the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown (which was fantastic!) but I know we'll look back on the 'cabin memories' just as fondly as the museum itself. Highly recommend for anyone considering!

I’m only allowed to give 5 stars I would give 6 if I could. Being 20 minutes from Cooperstown the peacefulness of this property can’t be beat. The owners have thought of everything right down to the S’more’s Kit. Communications with the owner could not have been better. This property checked off all our boxes. We would 100% stay here again.

Everything was better than advertised! Being from the city, this was a complete departure (literally) from everything we're used to. Brad was an incredible host, making sure everything we needed was taken care of, from keeping the GIANT property maintained, down to making sure there were all the necessities for S'mores were ready for us! We stayed for a baseball tournament and couldn't have asked for more from our stay!

An at once serene and breathtaking atmosphere, the cabin was perfect for our family of five. Great views of the mountains and valleys of upstate New York, a quick drive to Cooperstown, and ample but homey accommodations make this place a great stay.

Our family stayed here for 4 days while our sons baseball team played in the Cooperstown area. We're so glad we chose this lodge as it offers a complete home away from home experience from the kitchen, bath, tv, internet, and temperature control. Theres absolutely nothing we required besides food and drink which was a convenient 10 minute drive away into town. If you're into fishing, bring your gear as the property ponds have some of the biggest fresh water bass we've ever caught! One small tip if you're over 6' tall, and it's no ding on the place, but watch your head in the kitchen and bath areas :) The host was very welcoming and available if needed. We hope to get back up to the area and stay here again!

Sunrise Lodge at Mt. Waiontha is a wonderful place to stay if you want to escape city life. The only sounds we could hear from the house were the sounds of nature. It was the most relaxing few days we've had in ages. Brad was a lovely host and stopped by to help us with the AC at one point. For anyone who wants to get away from a busy life, I highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed at Brad’s property for a long weekend visit to Cooperstown/Baseball HOF and had a terrific time. My young family enjoyed the abundant outdoors, fishing, nightly fires and exploration. Gorgeous setting and the commute to Cooperstown was very easy. Super relaxing and peaceful Brad was a terrific host. Highly recommend!

We were in town for a bridal shower and wanted a place where the four of us could stay together. The Sunrise Lodge was perfect! It was so nicely appointed and the property owners were wonderful! It is a beautiful space for a quiet weekend away and near historic Cooperstown.
