”We loved the location staff was helpful however there are signs of wear and tear everywhere. Worn carpets, chunks of plaster missing pieces of wood off the doors missing and non working light bulbs in the room. I’m hoping it’s because it’s the end of a busy season and they plan on repairing everything in the winter. Restaurant was nice but seemed a little understaffed. Had to get up and go to the bar to get a refill of my wine after waiting and waiting. Food was good”

We were blown away by the great interior of this unique cottage in the backyard of the hotel. ”An exemplary five‑star experience. Our host for the week Kara was excellent throughout our stay. Every detail was considered, including the thoughtful addition of an extra tea bag to accommodate my preference for stronger tea. Breakfast offered a variety of options, each prepared to a consistently high standard. The scrambled eggs with salmon were...
