After a long beach day, you can rinse the sand off in the enclosed outdoor shower. Although you can see the Currituck Beach Lighthouse from the deck, you'll want to stop by this historic wonder to explore the grounds and climb to the top. Then take a tour of the nearby Whalehead Club along the Currituck Sound which was once a hunting club in the early 1900s. If you own a 4WD vehicle, continue north along Hwy. 12 until the road turns to sand and take a leisurely stroll along Carova Beach where you might spot a Corolla Wild Mustang roaming the beach.
